Do you mean the fact the Fullmetal Alchemist world doesn't seem to have technology at the same level as real life? |

Moe comes from the verb "moeru" which means "sprout" or "bud," as in a tree or plant. "moe" is used to refer to the attractiveness of a young girl just sprouting into womanhood, her innocence, etc, etc. Its real meaning is probably more subtle, but you get the idea. Perfect example of "moe" is Shinobu from Love Hina. Comic Party Revolution has a great translator's note on this. Example: a baby could be "kawaii" but definitely not have "moe." It's a mistake to mistake these two words. -iw |

Isaac Newton was an alchemist. He never succeeded in discovering Philosopher's Mercury though.
Except in the science fiction/alternate history book Newton's Cannon. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...934215-7088042 |
