Can she use the powers of the lv5 simultaneously or one at a time?
And is her usage of the ability similar to the lv 5 or she can access the powers without their personal limitation like Misaki using remotes and such or Mugino's meltdowner If she can do it simultaneously then she really is OP but if not then she's just strong... |

As for Rensa, yeah that sounds slightly more balanced.

Jesus H. Christ.
Come back to animesuki after a long hiatus and now I see a huge thread on all the series that are based on light novels. What a change since 2004 when no one even heard about the term "light novels" and I actually had to go to lengths to explain what they were for Full Metal Panic. Do you guys all read the light novels in Japanese? Or does someone translate them into English? Last edited by kj1980; 2013-05-10 at 21:14. |

I can't say how it is in other cases, but for the To Aru Majutsu no Index light novels there is js06, a very devoted translator of baka-tsuki, who translates new volumes in merely a few weeks. So most of us are reading them in English.
Most popular light novels are being translated nowadays, Kawahara Reki's works Sword Art Online and Accel World for example seem to have a rather active translation project as well. The fans of the Monogatari series seem to be suffering though, since the complexity of the source causes headaches for everyone trying to translate it. The popularity of LNs seems to be rising since the Haruhi Anime in 2006, with Shakugan no Shana and other similar LN adaption following it and becoming quite succesful as well. With the rising count of LN adaptions, the interest in the source materials increased accordingly. Last edited by DanielMors; 2013-05-10 at 21:04. |

Do you guys have access to BookWalker app for iPhone and Android to buy the digital version of the light novels in its original Japanese form for those that can read Japanese? I personally use Amazon Kindle nowadays to buy light novels that are available through there. Saves me money and time and bookspace. Unfortunately, not a lot of Kadokawa LNs get digitized into Kindle, mostly MF Bunko J LNs like Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko and Haganai How are Nishio Oshin's Monogatari series more complex? Is it more difficult to obtain abroad (abroad meaning outside of Japan)? |
