And as she has been doing this for awhikle(I think she may be many years older than how she loooks) she could probably do it pretty easily, atleast emotionally. |

I feel so alone again. Amazing to which different results people can come. To repeat my prediction: o Sayaka will be screwed over and dumped by Kamijo o Feeling crushed and betrayed, Sayaka will refuse to do her MG duties and turn into a witch o Witch-Sayaka will be killed by Kyoko. So. If things come to pass like that (I give it 66% probability), then Kyoko has done nothing wrong for which she should be attacked by Madoka or Homura. She's not responsible for Sayaka's fall, and as a MG, it's her duty to kill witches. (IMHO, this is the function of Kyoko on the Meta-Level: A Sayaka-turned-Witch has to be killed, but not by the hands of Madoka or Homura. Therefore, we need one more MG character to do it) And I see no point whatsoever in making her a "Mid-Boss" or anything. For what? Revenge? Is that supposed to be what this show is about? Most definitely not. Therefore, I also see no point in having Madoka/Homura trying to kill her or something. No - I'd rather expect her to become a rogue resource. Long-range prediction: Madoka will try to get along with her, but Kyoko will ridicule Madoka's idealistic-naive ideas. However, somehow at the very end, after a long struggle of Madoka's to convince/befriend Kyoko, she will be instrumental in helping out Madoka/Homura in a critical moment. Entirely against her own selfish convictions. And by doing so, lose her life. So, if she dies, it will be in defense of Madoka/Homura, because Madoka managed to convince her to ignore her selfish ideals for once. That's how I expect Urobuchi to deal with it, at least |

I think that Kyoko will be a tool to show Madoka an MG with perhaps the opposite disposition and character as Mami, and will also be used as a tool to show one MG killing another. Sayaka was already very guarded against Homura--more outwardly aggressive than Mami. I don't think that she will be in a vulnerable position against Kyoko, but rather could take out her frustrations--building since initial hostilities with Homura, and compounded with Mami's death and a possible negative consequence from Kyosuke--on the more selfish MG who is trying to clash with her.

And in the long run, I expect Kyoko to be the avatar of the selfish disposition. She will rip into Madoka's idealism, badly and painfully. This contest of ideas will be a core theme in the eps to come, I bet. |

I expect Kyoko to end on self-destruct by her own doings, at the end her plans will collapse over her and highly probable will kill her. |

Urobuchi's explanation on Kyoko was in fact 'she is not evil, nor good. She just follows her desire to fulfil her self-satisfaction'. Someone who think the entire thing as a 'game', someone who will become major challenge towards Sayaka. She will be the one who represent 'reality' in this series, not 'evilness'.

How about Kyouko defeat Sayaka without killing her directly and take over the area then Sayaka turned witch due to Kamijou/no recharge/both/whatever? If you win, since I have no ten tails, I'll grant you one wish the same way I did those MSs. On the other hand, if I win, you contract with me. Deal? Last edited by svld; 2011-01-31 at 11:18. |

Though seriously maybe she did grow up on the streets and was orphaned or something after all must of her magic seem to have something to do with food. That and she seems to always be stuffing her face with treats.

Maybe she wished for someone she disliked to die. Certainly doesn't seem like a very cheerful sort. At the very least doesn't seem to care about the lives of others so doubt the wish was for someone else. Though her love of food might make you think about growing up on the streets and always wanting a meal.
