I think episode 19 finally convinced me that so far, the series deserves a 10/10. But of course, it's time for some Gonzo material. But what can they do in 6 episodes? If they show some kind of tournament, it would definitely feel rushed.

From the looks of spoilers, the next episode would be your obligatory beach/pool episode seeing they already had the obligatory onsen episode, but starting from ep21 the individual tournaments would start. One would presume that it will fill up the season. I'm not too big on anime original materials either, but let's just be glad they didn't decide to animate any episode over and over again with different outfits each time. *cough*youknowtheone*cough*

Honestly, I hope that it won't happen for a while, or at least not until the manga have caught up. As of right now, 6 volumes of material have been covered by 19 episodes, if there were to be another season we should need at least 3-4 volumes of new content.

After watching ep 19, I have to commend the production team for the ability to evoke the type of emotions that is associated with watching sports, real life or not.
Though some parts seemed rushed and unpolished, it was a good effort nonetheless. And that scene is still too dramatic. And for RTK fans, earlier I commented that Yumi is like a Zhuge Liang type strategist, and this episode serves to reinforce it. "She got everything prepared, only the East Wind is lacking." |

My guesses for the four people to eventually make it to the nationals are at least Yumi, Mihoko, and Koromo. |

It seems to me that individual tournaments and team tournaments are two different cups
Kiyosumi won the prefectual level team tournament. They are now aiming for the national level team tournament championship. All the other schools have lost their chance to advance to the nationals as a team, however, they still have a chance in the individual tournaments. |
