If you want something you can use with anything, I'd recommend the Logitech Dual Action pad.
If you just want something simple, then Logitech Precision (only got a d-pad instead of analog).

I personally like using the PS3 controller. I'm not a big fan of gamepads (I do have one somewhere in the house in a box ... )

I've yet to play a match with any of the new stuff. I patch'd my game yesterday and just checked out replay mode. (I do not like Auau being the host for that. Go troll somewhere else >/ )

Could anyone please post a translation for the "new" Options menu in v1.03?
Also, I came to the -silly- conclusion that this updates will be monthly. Anyone concurs?

The next to last option is for replays, first option never saves, second asks and third always saves. The last option is for offline delay.

I`ve conntected my PS3 controller but all the buttons are werid as in the left button goes down, any way to fix this?

I`m slowly working it out :3

Thanks. But I'm also asking about the other 2 options: from the "fps limiter" to the "replays" one, what do they say? =/ (I jumped from v1.01 to v1.03, so the "bottom" option I remember of was just the V-Sync).

Did you try starting the game through the "Bootup.exe" and configuring it manually? I'll post a workaround for that if you need it.

The 1st one would be "Match Duration" (or something like that), with 180 and Infinite as options.
And, which are the 2 options available for "Simple Backgrounds" and "Simple Shadows"?

PS: Have you ever considered making translations to your video endings of the game? :P
Also, how come there's 27 people in the "Seiyuu's credits" and just 25 announcers? Could they be those 2 locked characters? =/

Version 1.03 has a few battle adjustments too; for instance, Kanon's Heavy attack uppercut attack now does an additional hit in midair, I'm pretty sure.

Since it doesn't look like anyone's posted it here yet, the sequel to Ougon Musou Kyoku was announced today. Looks like it'll be coming out either at Winter Comiket or Summer Comiket.

Ryuukishi mentioned that he'd like the most recent character contest to influence the lineup of new characters. He also made a point of mentioning how surprised he was to see Lambdadelta so high in the polls. Make of that what you will.

He's also thinking about adding a mode to make special abilities easier to use (pushing a button to use Battler's blue truth was his example). Though he doesn't seem too sure on that point, and is asking for fan input.

Finally, Ryuukishi said that he wants the sequel to include a CG mode, where new pictures are unlocked as you play the game. ...And he's looking to fans to help supply them. They'll apparently be accepting images by email until the end of March.

What we know so far:
* Images may contain characters that aren't in Ougon Musou Kyoku, but should stick with characters from Umineko.
* Sizes 1920*1080, 1600*900, and 1280*720 in png format
* Each person can submit up to three images
* Previously released images are allowed, but the submitter must have the rights to them
* Monochrome images are okay
* Images should be all-ages appropriate
* The images might be altered for the game
* They might have to lower the amount they're accepting
* Email should be sent to bbs＠07th-expansion.net, with 黄金夢想曲ＣＧ応募 as the subject.
* Names will be included in the credits, so be sure to include a pen name that you don't mind being displayed.
* We haven't heard their thoughts on submissions from overseas, but please remember that 07th Expansion doesn't speak English. Except they could probably recognize the word 'name'. Except in Japanese, that means you're mocking them. Or it could mean you're licking them. Ah, language is fun..

Also, when does it ask if you would like to save replay? What are the Selections it give you on the Replay option in the Options Menu?

I feel the same, it really feels rushed, considering the twitches the current one needed.
