You could say that.

Although Yuuichi is indeed flirting with Sayuri (well, at least in my opnion), I would say more that Yuuichi is trying to get Mai to open up, rather than flirt with the taciturn girl.

Anyway, Sayuri qualifies as my bride because she shares the same voice actress as Misuzu from AIR.
I thought Sayuri's "Ahaha" sounded familiar. Isn't that Misuzu's second catchphrase as well?

(Would be quite trippy if "Gao!" made its way into a future episode.)

Misuzu's other catchphrases were "nihaha" and "oi!", not "ahaha".

Talking

A Sayuri-centric OVA does not necessarily mean it must follow her side-story from the game. Just like how we had a Tessa-centric OVA from the FMP-iverse, we can have an OVA about the daily life of Sayuri, from her point of view.

Cheers.

ADD] Furthermore, KyoAni has a history of animating OVAs that feature the side-characters. Remember Air in Summer? These OVAs were much more light-hearted than their TV-series counterparts. 25 minutes of pure light-hearted fun for the fans, which is suitable for a character like Sayuri.

Thanks for the clarification. The "nihaha" is coming back to me. Don't remember the "oi!", but I'll take your word for it.

Wow, has it really been 1 year+ since Air?

She says "oi!" and does a victory sign when Yukito tells her to keep smiling.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind if I watch Air again. Like another poster once said, it's weird watching a summer series in fall/winter. Maybe next summer.

My favourite part is when Yuuichi tricks Makoto in buying a porn magazine...and when Yuuichi went to the bath, he also tricked Makoto that he would join her..LMAO

Just love the time when the music freezes when Yuuichi saw Makoto taking a bath...

Misuzu says "vui", which is a approximation of the pronounciation of the letter "v".

Yuuichi knew that was a sure way to get her out of the bath. Smart cruel guy.

Hmm... would the Kanon-iverse implode if Sayuri utters, "Gao"?

Heh.

I think he was trying to defuse his "aw crap" moment when he realizes that the bath wasn't exactly free as he had been told, hence the instant stop to the music.

And much hilarity ensued.

Yep, both are voiced by Kawakami Tomoko.

I'd definitely burst in a fit of laughter if that happens.

I didn't give this episode a good grade because of the lack of Ayu. But it was okay since we got some Yuuichi fanservice. <3

I agree with the rest about the funny scenes. Really good.

I hope I won't have a hard time following the series because I was greatly disappointed with Mai's "Demon hunting". Supernatural... Yeah, Ayu's from the moon. Buuut I think the comedy aspect owns me. Nayuki sleepyness, Mai's quiteness and Makoto's quirkyness (though sometimes they really annoy me that I almost don't care about them anymore ).

I don't know much about the 'Demon Hunting', but I wasn't really expecting anything really 'demonic' to come out anyway. Something tells me there's a quirk somewhere in this, though I'm pretty sure even Yuuichi felt it.

The "demon hunting" is a bit more complex than first glance might indicate but I'll wait and see if KyoAni is able to portray it clearly.
