If both Erio and Teana have limiters, then it means everyone's limiters is like to B rank, and that sounds a bit much for SLB.

I'd say everyone is limited to A rank.

re: SLBs, was anyone actually shielding? I mean, Nanoha was casting one herself, so it's not like she could have an active shield up. Should be pretty obvious how she got destroyed.

Some people tried to defend themselves from it, like Corona blocking the blast using Goliath--didn't do her any good. Subaru, on the other hand, used her own body to shield Vivio from the blast, and Vivio came out mostly fine. Teana barely managed to defend against Nanoha's SLB, but she got taken out by Vivio almost immediately afterwards, so she still suffered a hefty HP loss during the blast.

Wouldn't the very act of casting a SLB destroy your own shields? Unless Tea cast hers first or something.

i'd say they hit each other and both exploded radically, actual power levels of both attacks before and after collision is not going to be delicately defined

But it's just a Wiki that can be edited by anyone in Japan. Since there's no reference point to a point in actual canon like a manga page or a line in a Sound Stage, I doubt that I can buy that idea.

The mainspace pages on the Japanese wiki have been 100% accurate, as far as I know... Most likely, that bit of info stems from some minuscule flashback or dialogue in StrikerS itself. They usually don't bother putting references to that.

IIRC, there have been no flashbacks or such in StrikerS itself which mentioned the Device. All the flashbacks involving Lutecia had her away from the Numbers.

Well, it would have had to have been in the Sound Stages, if the information exists at all. I don't recall it being in the manga at all, and the anime didn't delve into Lutecia's backstory and Quattro never mentioned anything in the anime.

See, the problem we're having here is that someone said that Quattro optimized the device for summoning. And people, more-or-less, went "yeah, sure, let's go with that" without questioning where that comes from.

So, I don't remember if it was in the sound stages or not, but I'll go look myself.

Was there any mention of Lutecia's time under Jail in SSX?

Let us not forget the dozens of details this show has often mentioned in various magazines that never got translated.

Oh, you mean like the VA interviews?

Anyway, went looking through the Sound Stages, nothing there is mentioned either about Quattro optimizing the device.

VA interviews, and just simple background information. Remember the schedules of the characters that were being tossed around during the romance war? A lot of stuff like that was never translated.

Do Inherent Skills use magic the same way as normal spellcasting? And aside from Ginga and subaru can the other cyborgs use magic?
