This is gonna suck if this turns into a bittersweet ending like alot of shows do these days. To break away from the cliche happy endings, it seems like alot of deaths or seperations happen. If this does not end happy.....

I know what you mean tiger, i really hope that either saito stays in this world or takes louise with him somehow...

I'm not really cheering for louise, as my favourite girls in order are: Henrietta>Siesta>Louise

Still i'll just be happy if the lead ends with someone and they don't have to separate right after they got together.... I hate those...

As long as ONE of them gets with him. If it ends up with him going home and the rest staying, a Japanese author might have a frightening expirience late at night sometime....

But maybe he will stay. He has already done it once when he gave up the chance with the A6M.

Personally because it was the first I want him to end up with Louise. But Siesta is fine too.

I have come to actually HATE Fate/Stay Night, Chrno Crusade, and such.

I don't normally watch animes like this one.. but I recently watched the first season and I was very entertained.. it is a very fun show indeed... I can't wait for more..

...... and to stay on topic here (with the above posters).. I will say that I hope Saito ends up with Louise.. I don't read the novels and in fact, I don't know anything about this series other than from what is shown in the first season.. but I sure do want to see Saito and Louise stay together

I can suppose the blonde-haired one is her aunt. But yeah, I totally agree.

I touched on this last page, didn't I?

It was also announced that both the director and the series/scenario planner (the one who determines how the story will play out) have been replaced for the second season. Iwasaki Yoshiaki has been replaced by Kou Yuu as the director, while the previous scenario planner, Yoshioka Takao, has been replaced by Kawahara Yuuji.

The two of them worked the same role for the anime LOVELESS back in 2005.

Which means the whole theory about the anime being for Siesta went out too? Now it is whatever they want I guess.

There was never any theory about Siesta. And the second season will still follow the novel plot. A change of director and series planner simply means we might see a different approach to the process of transferring the novel story onto the TV screen, that's all.

And I'm telling you no such thing is written anywhere.

I'll tell you what IS written though, an entry on MOON PHASE about the second season covering the novel's story beyond vol.4

Goody, goody. I wanted it to follow the novels. Only thing is we will not get a definate ending as the novels are not finished. Which means maybe a third season. Yay.

Things that i do really expect from 2nd season :

-more improvement in Saito-Louise relationship
-more character development about Tabitha and Kirche
-26 episodes at least (PLEASE!!)
-more 'magic world things'
-add more humour to make it more funny
-best ending like in 1st season (this is the most important!!)

...Whaa?

Then again, I guess if there are people out there who think that way, then us novel readers are probably just overreacting when we say the anime sort of internally combusted itself in the end due to too much story compression.

Well it's obvious that the person above you haven't read the novel or your nice summaries and only basing his expectation on the first season.

That being said, I also feel the ending was a bit rushed, they could of

Spoiler:

Overall it was a good series and can't wait for next season!
