Of course, the person has already drawn it [the lines], and it's sped up. But the reason this program looks good to me is because Illustrator doesn't have good raster capabilities and Photoshop doesn't have good vector capabilities. You also can't doubt that the person has had considerable practice with it. That being said, it looks pretty good. If anyone has a better example, can they provide a link? |

Ha Thank you so very much! ^//^ another question, How do you resize a screenshot from a show using CS3, and making it fit 100X100? like if the screenshot is 960X720? Example: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s...Avatar0017.jpg |

How to get a 1:1 ratio: 1. Go to the Crop tool [Press C]. 2. Set the Height and the Width to 1 [Units of measurement don't matter]. [Height and Width can be found under the menu bar]. 3. Choose the area you want for your avatar and press crop. Alternate way: 1. Go to the Rectangle Marquee Tool [Press M]. 2. Set "Style" to "Fixed Ratio". [Style can be found under the menu bar]. 3. Set Height and Width to 1. [Height and Width can be found under the menu bar]. 4. Choose the area you want for your avatar, right click, and copy. 5. Create a new document and paste. How to resize: 1. Go to "Image" on the menu bar. 2. Go to "Image Size". 3. Set Height and Width to 100. Set Unit of Measurement to Pixels. Press OK. There's your avatar. |

Hey, i have a question, not entirely sure where it should go but this thread seems the best place heh.
I really like doing digital art, i can do colouring and stuff although i'm having 1 problem, and that's drawing lineart digitally in photoshop. I have a wacom tablet but i can't seem to get the lineart i like, i tried just using the pen tool but was too bland and no depth to it or anything. Also tried a bunch of other ways but it didn't come out right. I'm basically been trying for a while to get lineart very similar to this one... http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/1416/fukoup0.jpg It's kind of an manga style but i can't seem to get it right, so was wondering if theres mabey some custom photoshop brushes available that can help or some advanced tutorials in lineart that will help me progress. Thanks

Adding a pen pressure is probably what you need, it allows you to have a better control of the brush. Well basically it gives it a fading, which conclude it to be more pencil-like. If you want a sketchy look, then simple go google/deviantart for brushes. Oh god I just typed a novel over my lunch break, and I think I missed my lunch break also. Here is a tutorial for lineart if you want

Setsilya, your link doesn't work [You have two http://].
Fixed link: http://kuitsuku.deviantart.com/art/P...g-Tut-56907784 Out of curiosity to the person who asked the question. What were your brush settings when you tried to use a tablet with lineart? |

Regarding tutorial for the your need GIF making Tutorial, (Vitual dub) you probably only need to read capturing your screenshots section though. Frame Capturing Tutorial by Green (ffdshow) Frame capturing with Media Classic by Green Frame capturing with Media Classic by Green Yes it is possible to capture every frame in the video with simple screenshots, but I don't recommend. Just takes too long and you might miss a few frames and all.
