loool. Picard would be funny as Kyon, since Picard comes closest to being humorless and serious. Plus Picard is kind of the narrator with the captain's log. Too bad there's no Picard facepalm in the episode.
Replace "all hands abandon ship" with "I'll leave that up to myself next time" And Troi does most of the crying and being useless in the series, but I don't think it happens in this episode.

Also, there's nothing stopping the person who makes this from throwing in a Picard face-palm if it can be smoothly edited in.

Whatever you do with the Endless Eight and Cause and Effect crossover, use Suzumiya Haruhi no Gensou as glorious background music for great justice. I particularly recommend using the overture at the beginning of Koi no Mikuru Densetsu for the beginning shots of the Enterprise.

Great ideas everybody!
While I'm still hoping somebody else will pick this up, I'm still willing to do this. Before I do so, though, I'd really like it if people could take a look at some of the YouTube mash-up work I've already done... to see if it's up to what your hoping for with this project, basically. With that in mind, I have one of my Haruhi-based mash-ups in my sig - please check it out, and tell me what you think.

Minori and Haruhi both have significant Genki Girl aspects to their personality. Minori and Haruhi both love baseball, and are generally upbeat.

About the quality, well, half of it are static images (they are easy for good artist). However, the opening and and they standing on the wind are damn good too. The wind scene seens to be only 5 or so frames, using the blinking shadows to give a more animated feeling... The begining is just another proof Japan got all fan animators. |
