Probably because the characters used weren't ones that commonly shown in the anime.

Kazuma playing as Batai/Tanpopo, Bachou's/Sui's little sister and Koyori using Shūtai Yōhei/Minmei of Wu (under Sonsaku Hakufu/Sheren).

as mangatron implied, the AS file size limit really is "annoying" to say the least.

I even tried to delete a bunch of frames from that gif, with no results; still over the limit. so, I just gave up.

for comparison's sake, my current sig is 4 frames only. that's why it fits, while retaining a reasonable quality/size.

ok, time to go back to my Fringe 3rd season marathon now.

The art sure seemed less consistent this time around than the previous weeks. But that's not all that important ... what actually bothered me was Kazuma's reaction towards the fairer gender this time around. I mean, sure, it's great that we have it confirmed this incarnation of Kazuma isn't completely uninterested in females, but i honestly found his reactions disturbingly overplayed.

This is a guy who has been portrayed, for better or worse, (ok, most definitely worse) to have ten times the reaction towards his own brother in girl's clothing (

) than any of the actual girls around him. An episode ago he didn't even so much as bat an eye at the thought of the female population beyond the hot spring's wall.

And suddenly this very guy is drooling over an arcade game of strip mahjong (which doesn't even show much

), or fantasizing about Tsumugi, to the point it seems he may well have stolen Daigo's personality ? I actually found that somewhat creepy, as i was having very real issues connecting this Kazuma to the one we have been fed up to now.

As much as i appreciate him having a reaction towards something actually female, i can't help but feel this particular execution was highly inconsistent with how he has been portrayed up to this point.

Not to mention that's a pretty awesome arcade. Besides the usual fare, they've got games for boys and girls. And games filled with double entendres, to say nothing of the Koihime Musou fighting game included. It helps both are under Marvelous, but still. Seeing old faces is always pleasant. That also explains what a Nyanbobo is. Every anime has one of those little mascot thingies. I can't wait to see what's filled in the blank next week.
