Try to add a more dreamy feeling. Also make the colors more vivid!

PS: I do my "dreamy" things with this: Apply Image > Gaussian blur @2.0 > blending mode Screen > if turns out too bright, lower opacity.

PS2: To get rid of that tag, just click "Edit Tags" in the "Tags" window, and uncheck the "hakuryu" option

Rofl dreaming feel, I do mine at Guassian blur @10 then overlay. Works perfectly without opacity. <--- If this sounded like I do this all the time, no way.

No biggie then.

Mind you, I don't think something like that could lead to trouble (for the one that did it), but I still felt like mentioning it just to let everyone know.

I don't think I'm doing it right. It looks like a mess when I follow those instructions. ;_;

I tried to take Hakuryu off the tag list but it wouldn't let me. Thankfully, it seems someone did it for me. ^^

I made note of you for your Okami images. I recently bought Okami and after 1-2 weeks I'm near the end, and I'm an even bigger fan of your Okami stuff.

You have a really good style and your choice of images to use jives well with me. I was just a bit miffed because your SOTM entry for this month makes use of an image that I just obtained. I thought for sure that nobody else would have found it. Alas, the internet is a small place

I found that image while searching "mermaid" on an imagebored, I loved the image too much not to use it. ^^

I just finished a line art of one of the brush gods. This is a "anthro?" version of Yumigami, the rabbit. In the game she gives you the power to control the moon.

It really is. Even though it may not look like much from screenshots, I think that it's one of the most graphically amazing games that I've seen. Everything about it has a very artistic feel. The gameplay is great, too. I can remember thinking that I'd reached the end of the game after putting in around 20 hours, and then the narrator goes on about how "the story is just beginning..." and it was true! I'm now at the end (ready to go through the point of no return) and I had close to 48 hours logged. I'm just getting the rest of the stray beads before I finish the game. But 48 hours for an action game is unprecedented. I think I've only ever logged that many hours on RPGs before. I ended up buying the soundtrack, as well as the piano soundtrack. I could only find them both at CDJapan, so I'm still waiting on them as they're shipping from Japan...

It looks fantasic! You have a really nice art style. I'm even more impressed by the fact that you did it with a mouse. I'll admit that I did a quick sweep through your thread so I may have missed it, but have you posted any scans of your drawings? Is your art style more or less the same when you use a pencil and paper?

Either way, I'd love to see this colored (probably another difficult feat). Are you planning on doing this for the other brush gods?
