(L) Rosario to Vampire

I think it ended that way because many people have been reading the manga. So to show a little originality in the anime they took out some scenes in the manga.

EP.13? I thought it was 14 eps? ???

i found the scene they reused was soo annoying, ie camera panning up on mizore 4x. imo mizore was probaly the 2nd most useful combatant in ep 13 aside from moka. the trick i do is imagine vamp tsukune letting moka stand up and then they both deliver a blow against kuyou to defeat him. lol moka did look father comfortable and happy when she was being carried by tsukune.

the series could've been soo much better if they had placed the camera 3ft higher in most scenes and staying closer to the manga but then again its gonzo -.- . they didnt do too great on dragonaut, is one of the main appeals to gonzo the fanservice? se2 SHOULD have more plot as they got thru the character intorductions. wat are the chances that another studio picks up RV se2 b4 gonzo claims it?? usually im not much for a series to change studios between season (ie minami-ke okawari), but i think such a move will improve a possible se2.

Didn't she though? XD She had the 'I could get used to this' look on her face, being carried around by a suddenly and surprisingly muscular and tanned Tsukune. Then again, which girl in his harem wouldn't have the same look, eh?

If I had control over the ending...this is what I would have put in:

vamp-ed Tsukune: Moka-san...you're hurt! *looks at the bruise on her face*

Moka: Do not worry. I'll be fine Tsukune. *stands up* However, since I gave you some of my blood to heal you, I am not at full strength.

Tsukune: ... your blood...is in me? *looks at his hands* Am I a vampire now?

Moka: No you are not, silly. You merely have my blood in you, giving you a measure of my power. *smirks at Kyuou* A power that I need to defeat the one who put all of us in this perdicament.

Tsukune: *looks at each of them* Kurumu-chan....Mizore-chan...Yukari-chan....and Ruby-san...thank you... This time, I'll protect you all. *closes his eyes then opens them, red pupils shining*

Kyuou: There's no way you should be alive! You are just a lowly human! No, even if you have gained power, I, Kyuou, shall reduce your very existance to ashes!

Tsukune: *blurs - appearing right in front of Kyuou and punches him solidly in the gut*

Kyuou: *wheezes and staggers*

Tsukune: *gets behind Kyuou and pins his arms to his side* NOW MOKA-SAN!!

Kyuou: Ki-sa-maaa~! *tries to burn Tsukune but it has no effect*

Moka: *after making her speech, dashes at him full speed and does a full warheel kick to Kyuou's chin*

Tsukune: GRAAAH! *does a German Suplex with the power of Moka's kick behind it, smashing Kyuou into the rooftop, going through it.

i wouldve liked if they ripped off the exact lines that were said in the manga along with the small alterations to include mizore and the other 3 girls. although they couldve left out a character that appeared in ep 12 that was present in ch 10

If anything, I would've included Ishigami (the art teacher) in place of Liliko-sensei, and maybe used the original episode to instead be the one where Kurumu has to deal with the slug guy, since she finishes the MotW off. The pool episode is fine for establishing Moka's weakness, and I have no problem with Mizore being introduced earlier, but some of the decisions Gonzo made in adapting the manga were really odd.

indeed, the biggest adaptation was tskune's butter fingers . i could deal with some minor plot variation. aside from butterfingers there was the fight alteration in ep7 that really bugged me.

And;

1. I would have liked to see Tsukune actually do something and beat the guy like in the manga.

2. The way Tsukune got burned in the manga was way better. The one in the anime was just a repeat of the Ruby ep at the end. In the manga it really showed how far he was willing to go for Moka.

The only thing I liked was at the end when Ruby was also in the mix for a kiss.

i have to say the ending was okey . though i really wished that tsukane and moka both went in for the finishing blow . but you have to admit moka look really nice in tsukane's arms

Ugh. Easily the worst Manga-to-Anime transition I've seen for a long time. They took out most of the best parts of the manga, mangled the remaining storylines beyond belief, wussified Aono, and seem to have done it all mostly for the pantsu-shots.

I enjoyed it for what it is but yeah after reading the manga this show sucks. At least they left it kinda open for another season. I just hope they at lest make Aono do something besides the guy who removes the Rosario.

In the final episode the animation and art was very cool.

thats so true, having a 24 ep run would've done wonders even if it was gonzo. they couldve done the student council arc and the effects of vamp blood on tsukune. ie
