Here's a slightly longer clip of the original commercial (with more teachers and the principal).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okeq0uuldy0 I'm not sure if this qualifies, but it was very refreshing to see the law prevail in the instance of all the Otaku running away when the cops showed up. Basically 2chan set this up without permission in the middle of a crowded Akihabara district without getting permission to assemble a large crowd that would obstruct traffic. Look for the guy tearing it through the crowd just before the cops show up. I'm guessing he didn't want to get in trouble or be associated with that.

...that kinda reminds me of the 'flash mob' fad that was going around the world recently.

They were not obstructing traffic. That particular road is closed on Sundays.

Cheers.

The police probably felt it qualified as a disturbance then. The one guy who walked by had his hand in front of his face and the gawkers didn't seem to upset when it was broken up. They are probably running contrary to something otherwise I can't see why the police would come in and break the whole thing up. There's still the issue of pedestrian traffic to take into account as well. I doubt anyone was arrested, but it just go's to show that they should plan these things ahead of time and take into account that its a busy business district and not everybody will take kindly to it. The cops also didn't know how long it was going to last I bet and wanted to nip it in the bud.

It's my third time seeing the video. Suffice to say, the internet is full of information.

(Go figure. I know this, but struggle with calculating 3D volumes)

Cheers.

Of course, it appears that before they were chased away by the cops, they've already managed to complete the HHY dance once:

I really think you're kinda being let down by the rest of your group. They really aren't putting enough into it, especailly Mikuru. You look great, though.

Yes, Mikuru is fugly, and the song sounds like it's being sung at half-speed, but otherwise, this is a very interesting, well-done take on ENOZ's God Knows, as done live by the SOS-dan.

They did a great job actually, i wish one day i will have the courage to dance in the middle of the street without wondering how ppl will think about me.

Anyway, the fun was ruined a bit because lack of practice (not synchronous enough, i guess),and bad camera's angle, or it will be really awesome

That was excellent. Parts of it seemed over dramatic to the point of hilariousness, and Itsuki looked like an emo kid but it was really good. I liked it.
