Mio said that Mai does whatever she wants to and i think thats pretty accurate. Mai is not doing it out of malice. However, she does it without consideration for others either. She just do it because she think it is more "interesting" for lack of a better word.

Found this lol. Not sure how I feel about this yet. Though some parts just make me laugh, it's a bit random at times, more so than Lucky Star. And those references, references lol. As far as episodes go, how many episodes do you think they'll be putting out?

I believe the series will be 26 episodes so it's almost over.

Hrm ... finally caught up with ep 20 last night.

Good, normal "Nichijou" material, but I wanted to see more of the Nano/Hakase/Sakamoto trio. 7/10 vote on the ep from me.

I don't usually watch anime for romance. At least, not primarily. I'm in it for comedy, concepts and characters. Romance can be a part of that, but most episodes of a given series are trying for something a little else.

In this week's Nichijou, I can't exactly ignore the romance. Sasahara and Nakanojo have their admirers. Fe-chan, in trying to find someone who's not weird in this universe... you'll come around to the odd side eventually. Then there's Takasaki/Sakurai, which just grew into a possible love triangle. Or maybe Nakamura's trying to appear cute. Either way...

But there are those who are not interested in romance.
Mai, when she grows up, wishes to become a god.
But she'll have to get through Mio first.

Mio, destoyer of worlds.
Sakurai-sensei is just too cute. Pig tails are about as good as ponytails on a woman with short hair.
It makes me wonder what Haruhi would look like with them instead of her short ponytail she puts up when she wants forgiveness from Kyon.

The animation in the blimp was crazy, to say the least. How much budget did they had for this? Was scratching my head as to how it will end, first the cubes and then the hair...when it came, I should have thought of that.

Feels like that'll be the last of the random number guys.

Gundere and Takasaki did well as well in this ep.

The first minute once again showed being Yuuko is suffering . Gundere's talk of romance with her friends shown in the first OP finally happened which was amusing. The Sakurai/Takasaki parts as well as Mio in Yuuko's dream were the best parts very fun to watch unfold . Though Mai and Sakurai's talk of the future was confusing yet so very subtle troll Mai like before .

Nichijou was in top form this week. Pretty much every single skit was a hit to me.

Down in the general anime thread there were people saying that Kyoani's animation is easily matched, etc. They obviously haven't been watching Nichijou. One of the things that make Kyoani's action scenes stands apart from others is that aside from being fluid it is very clean and crisp. The characters don't turn into blurs and blobs when moving around. This blimp sequence was just awe-inspiring for TV animation standards even today.

I love how someone admires Mohawk boy because he looks wild. I wonder what she'll think when she see that his mohawk got shaved off by Nakamura a few episodes back.

Kind of agree here. Despite that all the stores are basically 1:1 manga to anime conversion, it takes effort to fill the gaps between the panels and of course make them move. I find it great that they did not choose to do something to bank on K-on's success, and did something more experimental, in terms of character design and obscurity that takes place, thanks to the manga. But i think Kyoani only manage to do it because of the good source material they have with nichijou.

Good enough!

Takasaki-sensei is still to this day my favourite part of the show, and he didn't disappoint. I was totally fooled by that delusion!

& the epic voice cast on a blimp make their return, in what is quite possibly their best adventure yet. The budget for this show reaches the heavens.

The blimp kind of feels like the place where the voices of famous villains go to die and get humiliated. By little girls.

Great episode, the humor in it was certainly unexpected.
Failed romance + weird teacher = epic win.

The dream scene topped even the past few dream scenes. So did the epic ED theme.

Another strong episode. I'll surely miss this show when it's over. 27 episodes is not enough.

Spoiler for Eps. 21:

Not a bad episode, it had more than one strong point and two new characters have been introduced (at least I think they're new, don't really remember seeing them before):
