There's no reason to bring up project F yet... I think the closest possible time for that would be when they reveal more information about the 'Numbers'.

Seeing as how they're the closest known connection that the good guys would know...

They sort of mention it already when in the synopsis they said that Hayate release 'restriction' on Nanoha

Exceed mode was Nanoha's own call.

But, by uniform, do you mean like the one Crono wears.

Here's a thought:
We can be sure Jail's Numbers girls don't need the Relics to operate their "inherent skills". It could boost them, but that appears optional at the moment. So what powers them?
What else have we seen before that uses Roman numerals to identify them, that was stolen sometime ago and there were 21 of them?

being powered by jewels seeds could be a possibility, as Scaglietti's drones are powered by that as well...(what episode was it again where Fate and Shari found out about the drone recovered was powered by a jewel seed...oh yea episode 6)

there was more than 21 jewel seeds in the first season, but the 21 jewel seeds seemed to have found a home on Earth. The others were scattered in some other areas and couldn't be detected I guess...

That was a Jewel Seed Nano though A very tiny portion of the ones we saw in season one.

Being that small, it must have been able to avoid detection.

But seeing as the numbers have more firepower than that Type-3, it would have shown up on their radar if they use anything bigger.

Anyway, there's no certainity that RF6 would have to fight through all 21 of them Some might not be 'active'.

I've been writing some summaries on the episodes ~ anyway, while writing one for Ep12 I think I spotted a little thing with the naming of the NumberS.

I think they all have 2 names.

I. Uno - ???
III. ??? - Torenee ( or maybe just Tore; with the nee being from -neesama)
IV. Quatro - Guanne (?)
VI. ??? - Sein ( when Sein rescues Lu, she introduces herself, she mumbles the number and then her name )
X. Deci - Rins ( everyone seems to call her Deci; except Quatro )

Two more things, based on the circles they use ( both X and III ) and the fact they all have robot ears and robot cat-suits they are most likely higher in tech rather then magic, if not 99% tech. But it could be that some are the either way round, like Quatro. Also the lower the number the higher the rank or at least authority.
