I really don't know what to make of all this romantic flags from Shino disguised as harrassment/trolling (

), but it's a nice sign that things have changed a bit from their first year.

The other kaichou, Uomii, is a possible candidate too.

Of course, all this doesn't mean much since Tsuda is eternally sexless.

How did people do even understand the last scene in episode 6? Three girls speak at the same time.

To be honest I want to see Tsuda conquer Hata just for laughs. It feels wierd that this anime morfed into slice of life and romcom in my head rather than comedy with dirty jokes.

I was missing most of the jokes at the start but thankfully that "date" segment revived the humor in me since Tsuda was caught off guard

Telescope part was fun too.

standard episode, but seems they lost the narrative style they had in the first few episodes of the season.

I like my gag anime binded together with some kind of narrative in the background, even if just a little. Like Nourin. Its way more nonsensical that SYD, but each episode has a little story or narrative that binds all the gags together.

I like that style too, but SYD is typically disjointed though. Maybe those flowing episodes were because they had more than one chapter for the setting, so there was more content?

Anyway, I love manju.

Oh, I hope they get around to chapter 181 and the related ones, because there'll be more of my 2nd favorite character and a new hilarious dynamic between the characters, lol.

LOL... I just noticed this in RC site that at 20:48 where Taka and Shino jump dive to the pool you can see the squid if you are seeing a small image. I mean the shirt that Taka is wearing when you make the screen small looks like a squid.

My So-Totally-Not Observations for episode 7:

* The SYD sales pitch went downhill and crashed pretty quickly, like a bike without working brakes.

* I really wonder what was going Boa's mind when it was sniffing both Yokoshima-sensei and Suzu's mother. Also, both Dejima and Hata need new hobbies.

* Speaking of Hata... Her being the straight man in a conversation with Shino was unexpected, even if it's something more mundane like the discussion of politics in a school newspaper.

* Regardless of whether she goes commando or not, Aria will always be a pervert.

* Poor Uomi. It's hard to imagine your flag being crushed even before the first season.

Shino and Suzu I can understand. Judo girl too. But when did Uomi get attracted to Tsuda? Is he supposed to be an ikemen?

Anyway the double sexual/not-so sexual harrassment from Shino/Uomi is nice.

I think it meant that the flag was crashed before it was even meant. Tsuda didn't go to her school to raise her flag

her school is farther and its probably a steep road so troublesome to walk through.

I guess SHino told her about Tsuda a lot. Plus she met him a few times. It is not like you need half a year to figure out if you like a person. He could be totally her type.

Episode 8~!

To think someone would use the SYD cycle and the one using it Yokoshima's victim in S1 beach episode and now he once again become Yokoshima's victim poor guy.

Tsuda & Dried Squid~! Suzu got yogurt on her uniform and Shino, Aria, & Kotomi arrived at last seeing that situation, Oh poor Tsuda misunderstanding after misunderstanding, Wonder what happen to Hata.

Nene what did you to letting a pure girl like Mitsuba hold something like that.

For some random reason I found myself curious about this series, so since yesterday I've watched through the first season, the OVAs, and the first three episodes of this season.

Current conclusions:

Suzu is best girl.
Hata disturbs me every time she shows up.
Favorite joke, oddly enough, was season 2, episode 1, Suzu's reaction to Nene losing her vibrator while they were running to school. (Yeah, Nene always has a vibrator. I think it was Suzu that sold this joke for me. "Gomen no level ja nai!")
For a series with two seasons and 8 full-length OVA episodes, there is a disturbing lack of doujin to be found for it. (...what? )
