Koutarou is a poor student living by himself, living in a six tatami room #106 for a cheap rent of only 5000 yen per month. On the day of the opening ceremony the rumored spirit 東本願 早苗 appeared in front of Koutarou. She said that she was the one who initially lived in this room and she tried to chase Koutarou out. But that's not all, the next day a self proclaimed mahou shoujo 虹野 ゆりか , underground habitant クラノ・キリハ . alien ティアミリス・グレ・フォルトーゼ appeared as well. Each one of them have their own plans, trying to make the six tatami room their own property. Thus start the everyday life of Koutarou's battle with those girls....

Whoa! Isn't this series have the same premise as PapaKiki? Several girls live together in a cramped room with the MC! I can already guess that most comedy in this series come from their hilarities while living together!

Havnt read A Simple Survey, but looking at the summary, I don't think this is in any way similar to A Simple Survey...

A Simple Survey is really just a short story collection with a nifty framing device, and several of the stories have a similar premise -- "Attribute Colors for the Palette" and "A Girl Arrived as Collateral on an Unrepaid Loan" in particular, but also "Please Feel Free to Consult with Us (But Use at Your Own Risk)".

Then again, you could say all of these are magical harem stories with adult MCs instead of the high school boys found in series like Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka?

Personally this novel give me quite a different feel in contrast to kore wa zombie desu ka, so I don't think it's similar to it. Just person opinion I guess.
