And boy, when you guys said that things were going to be different later on, you weren't kidding Now I really can't wait for them to be animated!


(Though I feel bad for Maka, most of the time she fights people that are way stronger than her )

Unfortunately, because I read them all too fast, I probably missed out alot of stuff Gotta go through them again... But off the top of my head, there are some things I want to comment...

1. Seiken - I CANNOT freaking wait for that chapter to be animated I would have never imagine that thing in the OP to be Excaliber Nor could I imagine what Excaliber to that...


2. My second favorite character - Stein.

A) Stein/Medusa - Never saw that one coming
B) Stein/Marie - Was worried for a moment there As evil as it sounds, maybe it's better that BJ brought the farm...

Awww... Stein can be nice too...


3. So... 30 chapters in, and Soul is still fighting/resisting the black blood demon? I'm not quite clear what the black blood does for Soul, a 'simple' power up (Plus catch) ?And more importantly, in that Brew struggle, why did the demon so Insistence on wanting him to play the Piano?


4. Oh my~ Wonder why Shinigami wants those Demon Tools...


5. Black Star really needed that time out, it's good that Kidd knocked him out, he's going overboard with everything already, picking a fight with anyone and everyone... (On a lighter note, lol @ Milfune making Tsubaki blush)

And yes so far, Operation "Capture Baba Yaga's Castle" Is LOL-tastic Love the ending where everyone hugs Medusa

About the conversation between Maka and Medusa, is anyone else wary of Medusa's reasons? Actually I'm torn between. A part of me is happy that Chrona is finally getting some love from Medusa, but at the same time I find it hard to believe because Medusa has never shown signs of affection for Chrona. And it wouldn't be the first time Medusa has lied about her intentions(I think). Also for what reasons could Arachne need a sacrifice?

Now I wonder when Kidd will ask Medusa about the book of Eibon.

You know Medusa is definitly lying there. She never ever loved Chrona. Remeber that little talk between Medusa and Stein where Medusa tells Stein how she really feels about Chrona? Medusa only said those to get on to Maka's good side.

Awsome chapter. Surprised at fidning out that Black*Star knows how to use Dr.Stein's Konie now. And the Shadow*Star is just bloody awsome. Can't wait for ch.50, Black*Star vs, Mifune round 3 has to be the best figth yet.

I do really think she is saying the truth there. Since unlike most other, she has nothing to hide in front of Stein, as they are the same type of person. Plus, she is trying to convince Stein in that scene, why does she want to use a lie that would piss him off instead? She is merely expressing her own insanity to prove the fact that she and Stein are indeed alike, something Stein was trying to deny. Its is easy to tell when is Medusa in her natural evil insane state and when is she acting and lying. If anything, I consider that scene where she conversed with Stein the scene that depicts Medusa most well, she really let out the darkest part of her.

Witch Pride.

It's not good to look like a softy in front of your enemy, considering the situation of their death match. Especially for a big bad witch like Medusa.

What's more, if she were to revealed that she have a soft spot for Chrona, the enemy would definitely take advantage of that. If they believe that she cares nothing for Chrona, then they wouldn't even bother with Chrona.

That's might be what she's telling herself all this time.

I'm not saying she's all of a sudden good now of course, but when you deal with someone like her, how do you know what's her true side? Just because they have a dark side doesn't mean they have only one side.

What's more, doesn't the state of 'insane' suggest that she wasn't in her right mind when she said that? =_=

Man...this series is one of those hell holes that won't allow you to stop reading until you catch up...

I pretty much jumped from chapter 5 to 18 today (which is a lot for me seen as I don't read manga) after thinking to myself that I should really stop after the current chapter so I can get some revision done...it isn't happening

The current fights are fricking interesting...I can't wait to see how it will turn out.
