I was trying very hard not to mention the Twilight series in relation to R+V

Emo-vampires are the worst in my opinion

A human slowing being turned into a vampire - I can understand any emo-ness that is associated with that. Losing one's humanity is serious business. And Moka's shown that she's definitely not emo, in fact none of the girls have been 'emo'. Kurumu may be emotional but I think all of us would kill anyone who called her an 'emo'. XD

Well Tsukune often gets emo pretty hard, especially when he slowly turned into a vampire but i guess that's just him being a shonen harem lead

The more R+V continues the more I think... "Is this really a Shonen?" it really feels like a seinen down to the great artstyle.

I thought so because Marin's husband was killed by Ayashi Sun believes that if Marin finds out about her true form she would have to leave Marin's side.

Its so heart breaking at the end of the chapter. Though I have a feeling that things will work out... I hope so, anyway.

Ikeda's choice for a siren's design is quite interesting. He made them look like angels. I wonder if Sun's wings are white or black.

Ikeda is one hell of an artist and manga writter. He's pretty underrated and his designs along with the detail is amazing. You think after that little gory panel in the future R+V will have more? Possible or not? Hmm...

@Tempest35 - What anime is that on your siggy. The girl looks cool.

Well R+V has always been really bloody. I think as we delve deeper into Fairy Tale we'll see more of the things the fairy tale "monsters" do to humans.

I thought that he was Harpy when I first saw it and if I recall my Greek Mythology Sirens were Gorgons like Medusa.

As far as I know, Sirens were in the Harpy family, not the gorgon family.

Edit: Did some quick research and I was right.

could be I know I remember reading somewhere that Sirens were Sisters to Medusa.

Gotta wonder the Capu2 PS2 game has 3 sirens sisters and now in the manga Ikeda HAS a siren character. Hmm...coincidence?

There are three Gorgons.

Medusa, Stheno, and Euryale. Medusa being the only "mortal" of the three gorgons.

Chapters become shorter and shorter - now there're only 37 pages while there were chapter with 50 pages...
As for chapter it's great and the art is fantastic!

Yes, it seems I'm the only original one around here, Tempest... and I'm staying with her as she is (I just have to get around to finishing off the current chapter... man I've been lazy)

though technically, you're the one who came up with that idea... I just make sure we're staying with it!

(for those who are lost, he's talking about Lorelei in our fanfic... he wanted to make her a siren at some point, but I said I don't think so... minus one for going with the crowd, Tempest)
