4chan is so retarded. People are complaining about changing artstyles in some of the scenes and then compliment on how great Kill La Kill looks :s. Yeah, cause that's very consistent.

According to Yasuda, at least 3 of the CM cuts were corrected from when they were used in the PV.

I'll give my word as a manga reader that it isn't.

Akina and Hime are both the main characters, though Hime is always listed first in the credits.

They really are co-leads. But if I were forced to choose one and only one MC, I'd probably choose Hime by a slight margin (even though I like Akina more).

Like LKK said, they really are pretty much equal in terms of being main main characters but Hime would be 'it' just by a little. Honestly though, reading the manga never once made me think about this topic at all.

Oh... so it's a remake, I've been reading the manga just recently in preparation for his thinking it was a continuation... oh well, I'll keep reading til.... say how much of the manga did the anime and OVAs cover?

It's okay, reading the manga first helps because the anime will not be a strict retelling. Stuff like Kohime and the town elections will likely not be covered.

The first tv series loosely adapted the first 3 volumes but with an original story with elements of the first major arc instead. The first OAD series covered Rin's arc. This new tv series will have original episodes at the beginning to serve as an introduction and avoid covering stuff the first tv series loosely adapted. It'll then go into Lila's arc and probably end with it considering the title. The next OAD series covers an arc that comes sometime after Lila's.

So do I watch the first TV, OAD series and than watch Hana no Uta TV if I want the correct viewing order? Or does the OAD occur after this?

There are 2 OAD series, Hoshi no Umi and Tsuki ni naku, the former takes place before Hana no Uta while the later occurs after Hana no Uta.

while it's true the "Hana no Uta" arc takes place after the "Hoshi no Umi" arc we don't really know how this reboot TV series handles it, TBH.
