Sengoku (Past) 07 - The Masamune That Wasn't Nearly as Stoic

Of all the Masamunes I've encountered in fiction, and all the Dates, I like Ookubo's version of Masamune the best. Must be in Masamune's younger days, because she was quite boisterous and friendly and generally a lot of fun to watch. Compared to Collection's version from the women in prison thing or the runaway teacher version in Sengoku Otome. The show looks to be picking up the pace with Nobuna's conquests. We've seen a few of them by this time, but the ones that aren't super major battles can all be passed over in montage. And I'm fine with that, we only have twelve episodes to work with. This version of Hisahide seems as morally ambiguous as Collection's, with the added bonus of being able to turn into butterflies. Bit of a somber episode, with the ruined city of Kyoto, but next week looks to make up for that. All of Yoshiharu's support team is turning out to be half his height, though... and that includes Nene.
