First of all, thank you for using the spoiler tags correctly. You seem to understand that several spoiler tags are needed to reveal spoilers to reveal...several spoilers.
Well, here are some: Spoiler for Elfen Lied:
Spoiler for SaiKano:
Spoiler for Gunslinger Girl:

Have you read my blog or something?
Anyways, if it's on that long list, you'll start it in 2015. And yes, they did kiss once, oh no. Someone got really pissed off about that though. Also, Spoiler for True Tears:
Similarly, Spoiler for School Days:

Being a "sandwich artist" is within my interests, since it's like a thirty minute walk from my house and I get free sandwiches. Continuing... I think that a kiss is further along in a relationship than saying "I would like to make physical contact with you between my hand and your breast." There's also a third girl in True Tears, so it's a harem and not a rabu triangle. (I don't consider this a spoiler.) Spoiler for School Days:
EDIT: I just read your Gunslinger Girls blog thing. Haha. Wow. We're great. |

If you're open to a comedy, School Rumble is all about unrequited love. All the main characters love someone who is either indifferent or loves someone else. After 52 episodes over two seasons neither the mangaka nor the anime producers have felt compelled to resolve any of these situations.

I'm not too sure about your requirements... since every romance manga has unrequited love, more or less. I'm also not sure if you want them to get together in the end or have them stay that way....
You can try Chokotto Sister Spoiler for Chokotto Sister:
I second School Rumble, perhaps the most funny manga / anime ever and it's ALL about unrequited love. Uhm also you can try Tenjou Tenge if you liked Berserk, it is all about mindless violence combined with lots of random sex Spoiler for It has unrequited love too:

Edit: Fine. A nice edit should do.
Was listening to the cello version of Voyage, a song from the anime Fantastic Children, and it brought back some bittersweet memories of the series. Truth be told, that song was pretty overplayed at times, but it doesn't mean I still don't like the piece. As for whether there's an actual unrequited love in there or not, it's been quite some time since I last seen Fantastic Children, that I can't really say at the moment and I'm feeling a bit gloomy too. But anyway, Spoiler:

In the spirit of staying on-topic: Ranma 1/2 - The classic anime of unrequited love polygons. The only couple with mutual feelings is unwilling to admit them. I've been rewatching select portions of the series these past couple days; despite its age, it is still a very entertaining anime. |

Video Girl Ai should be considered a classic for unrequited love. It's full of symbolism and the characters go through a lot and are beautifully flawed. Viz's manga translation is good and i recommend you buy it; although Viz's ova translation was extremely terrible because they "mal-translated" certain key dialog. Buy the dvd and get try to get the fansub translation if you can. I consider Honey and Clover as one of the true gems of this millennia. It has 6 unrequited loves for the men (if you include the minor characters lol) and one for the females. The only one that really gets love there is the dog, leader. Saikano also has a side character with an unrequited love; and it's a definite must see. Super Girls' (don't let the title scare you away its a very funny anime) has a "second" male lead with an unrequited love which develops in the the story into something really great. Marmalade Boy also features second leads with unrequited love. Even yandere happy Higurashi has unrequited love for most of the main cast, much to their detriment though lol. |
