Another fantastic episode. The final scene was simply brilliant, they first made us drop our guard by revealing the person going up the stairs was just Aoi, only to have Megumi appear under the bed (a very common fear for children, they couldn't have picked a better place) right after. I personally thought the crunching sounds were pretty creepy.

Another great scene was the one at the church. Sunako is fascinating.

I didn't like the differential diagnosis scene that much though. It's frustrating to watch when we, the viewers, already know what is up. Also, it was kind of hilarious that whereas everyone else was sitting around the conference table, Ozaki was chilling on his couch

The way Sunako is being played young is another thing that sort of lightens the feeling, but may make it darker in the long run. A post on 2channel felt she was being played too young. It's too early to tell, I think. Weird is good, too.

Hmm, I have no problem with her being played young, especially since Yuuki Aoi has already proven she can easily sound menacing or mature if she needs to. I think it's good to portray Sunako as young and innocent, even though it's obvious she isn't. In fact, I suspect she is the leader of the vampires. Maybe she wants to create her own vampire bund in this village? :3

Toru's death flag did appear when he was talking about asking Ritsuko out on a date, so you know, it's not that shocking if he does end up being killed off. I hope not though, because i rather like him.

But wow Jesus Christ that last scene. I was on the edge of my seat thanks to the incredible tension that was set. It was the same for the rest of the Natsuno scenes when he was 'dreaming' about Megumi appearing. But seriously that last scene. The mood quickly changed the second Megumi appeared from under the bed, and the absolutely incredible music placement did a grand job yet again.

Sunako's scene was short though very good. Find it strange that Seishin didn't ask anything more of Sunako's so called disease, though there's plenty of time for the interaction between the two to reach such a point where he'll start asking more questions.

Yeah thought his death flag was up at that point. Think he might survive this situation, but probably not much longer than that.

The end of the episode definitely had a creepy factor going for it. Had those brief appearances for Megumi earlier in the episode but nothing really coming from it. Thought they'd do the same until she appeared under the bed. Good thing he agreed to take the other bed this time .

eps 4 is starting to make me feel creepy, especially Megumi-chan

the meeting is funny too, the other doctors were quiet but the nurses sounded more knowledgable and were very into the discussions...

The ending was fantastic, I kept wondering if it was real or if the main character had a really bad case of sleep paralysis. When Touru's sister opened the door all appeared fine until Megumi appeared from the under the bed. It was really well done.

You know, Megumi looks a lot hotter in a corset and dead than she did alive Of course, the squishy sounds as she rearranged her skeleton kind of detracted from her appeal though....

Last scene was beautifully done -- the whole building up of suspense, only to learn it was a false alarm with the typical "oh it's nothing" scene that is so common in the horror genre, but here, after giving you a few seconds of breather, they add an epic twist and make Megumi appear under the bed. Fantastic. I can't stand those black and red eyes, too scary especially in the close-up scene of Tatsumi and Megumi.

Really liking the doctor guy who's so damn chill and laid-back most of the time.

Megumi appearing from under the bed and all her joints cracking as she got up was creepy as hell, especially after the 'it's all a dream' buildup we'd had throughout the episode.

Loving this show so far, it's horror anime done right. Hope it gets an eventual DVD release so I can have a legit. copy to keep!

Iv read the manga, and I have to say that the anime is pretty creepy compare too the manga.

Episode 4 had some really impressive dialogue that went on between the priest and Sunako in that ancient church on the mountain. Their discussion about "death" pretty much begs the question what is so bad about turning into a vampire. And Megumi, oh Megumi. She was a creepy little girl when she was alive, so its only fair that she comes out from the underneath of the bed.

OMG this episode was so freakin good. It was almost perfect IMO. I loved the conversation between Sunako and Yuki. Sunako def. has an interesting view on death. It was a very intriguing scene.

The way that Yuuki kept "dreaming" about vampire Megumi was really well done.

The end of the episode was absolutely awesome. I've been waiting for the first scary moment of this anime, and that's what this last scene gave me. The trippy visuals combined with the great music really set the mood. Seeing Megumi slide out from under the bed was scary. And the way she was moving her neck around creeped me out too. And what a cliffhanger! Seriously, they nailed the end of the episode. I'm very, very impressed with what I saw.

Also, The art style in this anime is fantastic. It really adds to the creepy moments and the vampire's character designs are amazing.

Overall a fantastic episode. As a horror fan, I can't stress enough how WIN this episode was.
