I think I'm going to die. It was SO CUTE.

Lived up to my expectations of the game, though I would've liked more Asamiya triplets.

Spoiler for Episode 12:

Overall, this was an absolutely fantastic title. For those who stopped after the first few episodes, I highly recommend that you give it a second chance!

They played the game music? Is it Koi suru Flow Light?

GAH!

And I would've loved more Flora. ;_;

Look at me. This show has already ended, yet I'm still stucked up with the storyline after watching episode 10.

A few and little things that I did not like on this episode was primarily the pacing.
Spoiler:

But I had the slight hunch and imagining that Kisaragi would call for help.
Spoiler:

But unfortunately, that happiness with Tsuwabuki's return was ephemereal or transient.

Well, the problem with this is because the episodes are actually condensed chapters of Sumomo's routes, hence that feeling of it being rushed.

The anime may have already ended, but the fansubs are going out with consistency.

Episode 11 and the last one raised the bar for the storyline on a marvelous scale, that they have encouraged me to keep my hopes high for the ending.

I liked the handling of the drama for two things:

Well, I just finished watching episode 12 of Nanatsuiro★Drops and I have to say I was very pleased with this series. I was all set to write it off as just one more juvinile mahou shoujo series when a friend who's opinion I respect suggested I give it a try. I'm glad he did, because it turned out to be one of my favorites from 2007.

First Love is Seven Colored

I delightfully enjoyed how the final episode turned out. Save for Asparas entrance, the several instances of light sparkling effects when Haru was revisiting the place he and Sumomo made memories, and the acorn magically growing into a hydrangea; there weren't magic elements portrayed throughout most of the episode.

The episode built up its right and timed pacing for Haru to visit all the of the places that he and Sumomo dated, as the feelings of the lost memories eventually resurfaced on him.

I like how at the conclusion they avoided the cliché deus ex-machina, therefore, Haru only remembered that he loved Sumomo but nothing else that together to fall in love.

The only scene that I felt drowsy and dragged was when Asparas came right after Haru left Sumomo outside at the greenhouse.

Overall, the episode was beautiful; a telling of how the feelings of a first love endure the oblivion to spring forth.

Final Thoughts: What made me to decide on watching Nanatsuiro Drops was the name for the title. I was store for a surprise as went watching episode by episode that mostly avoided some of the conventional magic-girl clichés.

The theme for the story was simply about beautiful memories that two people make together, as they experience a blossoming love blooming in them.

The contest to catch the seven stardrops, and the identity of Sumomo's mother were vehicles to the plot to teach that love at first sight was what this anime revolved around.

So that goes for this anime. This is the third title I managed to conclude for the summer season. Thanks to kedex and aquastar-anime fansubs for their releases.

Sweet little romance series with a touch of mahou shoujo, I'm so in love with these kind of series so I don't really have anything bad to say. Nothing ground breaking or exceptionally good, well except character designs , but nice story and Sumomo was so cute indeed. I could see myself smiling during last episode.

Thumbs up

After watching so many series lately passing off reseting the whole storyline as an "ending" I was delighted to see this one finish with our adorable couple hand in hand.

Hats off especially to tsuwabuki's character for being a stand-up and likeable guy admist a sea of spineless and annoying male leads...

Genuinely glad I took the time to watch the show all the way through instead of passing it off as some goofy mahou shojou show with its laser rings and spoon ladles.

I think that this was a series that surprised a lot of people. It does focus on innocent first love, and the magical girl element really does bring out that love between Tsuwabuki and Sumomo with its own charm to it. I know I had a least a few favorite moments from the series such as Sumomo's daydreaming about their first date and the night in Episode 11 when Sumomo is about to capture the final star drop.

For those of you wondering about the final ED song, that is Koi Suru Flow Light from the Nanatusiro Drops PC game soundtrack. Hard thing for me to find for some reason. Some very good music on there though.

We're really glad that you guys enjoyed the series. As some people have mentioned, if the first few eps didn't really appeal to you, give it another chance, as once you get further in the story, it really does have its charm to it.

Well finally found some time to watch the last few episodes of this series. Was an interesting last section of things around Tsuwabuki. Gets stuck in doll form, gets brought back by no easy feet, and then loses his memory. Guy just can't catch a break it seems . Though seems to a degree I was right about the bond between them being the answer. Not to bring him back when he gets turned into a doll (which you just knew would happen), but when he lost his memories.

Asparas had her own issues to deal with after that defeat. Mostly as being the only one who blamed her for what happened. Good that the forgiving people didn't hold things against her, but that didn't lessen how she felt about her actions. Going as far to make that potion and help with turning him back from a doll reflected all that. Nice that her character turned around at the end.

Overall this was a series I just enjoyed watching. Wasn't sure what to expect exactly from it, but it wasn't a disappointment. Tsuwabuki definitely is one of the top male leads. He could be a bit uncomfortable and struggle to find the words to express himself, but he was a good guy and not spineless. When it came down to his situation or helping Sumomo he didn't hesitate. This was just a really nice series more about the relationship and growth of Tsuwabuki and Sumomo with the magic elements supporting it.

Certainly give a lot of credit and thanks to aquastar and kedex for letting us understand this solid series.

Just watched the entire series. Wow its good! On first glance it looks like a typical mahou shoujo show but turned out to be a well thought love story. Whats amazing is that they are able to do this in just 12 short episodes. They are able to focus on the main theme and stick with it to the end.

Sumomo is just adorable, but for some reason I like Nako-chan even more. The only gripe I had for this show is Sumomo is a cry baby. But overall, the story, leading male character (Haru) and the supporting friends (especially Nako) make up for this.

I ignored this show for a long time, watching it only when I have listened to its OST. Like the show, I love the OST! Normally I don't like OST as much as the OP/ED themes. But this OST is so good, prompting me to watch the anime as well. After all, I want to know when those background OST was played in the anime.
