(L) Vandread

The only thing that I dont get is why did they open so much stuff on the last episode and just let it go. I know its been 8 years, so I say vandread is finished. I say this tread is dead, but I wanted to post something on this. But it would be great if they just came out with the news they would start on a 3rd stage. Anyways lets just keep saying they are planing on doing it someday, Thats better then saying its over with =D and just read fanfic If you wanted a good site full of fanfic you should go to Vandread Libary there so many diffrent stories to vandread there, Some of them I like some are just like....Why did you just kill the main charater off >.<

never read fanfic before but it could get interest. Could you recommend good ones to read, I prefer the original pairing of Dita and Hibiki but I wouldn't mind one with Meia in it ^^.

Well Right now I am reading a long series from the writer DMV its a good series it starts off on the ship taking the man and dita back to the mens planet after the ending of the 2nd stage. There are 9 extra charater but only 3 play a big part in it. There is Dita and hibiki, they get a lot closer to each other through the series I have read. I really enjoy it the other charaters are great and easy to like, Its humor-romance-action and some is pretty dark I would recommend to read it..

There are also fanfic on meia and hibiki non that I have got around to reading yet, jsut look around

Ever since this ended i've been waiting for another season . I remember there were times when they actually mentioned something about it, but i think that they dropped the idea since they had to do some hellsing ova or whatever, bah

Like I said saying its over sucks more then saying they might do it. Just keep beliving even if it take 20 years for them to get around to it..god i hope now, but if they do I would still watch it even if the language is in some other that i dont speak and so is the sub. And if they still haven't got to it all of use vandread faithfuls will march on them till they make it

I just came across this, Its a english ver of the manga 7 chapters long, if you enjoy dita and hibiki fan fics...this is something you are going to love. Same plot as the start of vandread stage 1, With a few changes to it. But i liked it.

I wasn't a huge fan of the manga, although Barnette was really cute in it. The seven chapter manga not the H doujins...

Sorry, but that scan came from a magazine that was published a year after Vandread ended its run. It's old info from 2002, and the project has since been abandoned.

It could be revived one day, but currently GONZO is not in good shape. The Kiddy Grade 2 anime, for example, is still in limbo after its announcement more than a year ago. (I have no doubt it would be released, but it will take a while longer than expected.)

A better example would be Mardock Scramble OVA, which was stopped due to financial trouble.

I just saw the first 4 eps of this on the Funimation site (dubbed) - and it seems ok so far.


The doc is easily the coolest of the guys on the ship at this stage, and it's kind of annoying how the setup seems to be one of the Dread pilots all fawning over the (appropriately clueless) Vanguard pilot, but ehh...
