I need a good romance anime!

:O So recently, I've taken an extreme interest in romance animes.
But I just can't seem to find any...

What I'm looking for is an anime that is romance (obviously xD), ecchi/hentai is allowed, I want one that's on-going, but if you have ones that are finished, still post them.
This isn't a must, but it'd be awesome if it was set in high school or whatever, y'know, kids/teens xD.

Also, on an extra note, does anyone know a good website to watch the episodes?
Not CrunchyRoll, it lags with me, it's either my connection or the site.

Ty. ♥

(Btw, yes, I did post this in the General Anime topic, but that's because I missed the Suggestions one, so here it is, re-posted) xD

Your "ongoing" condition really, really limits things.

But Ok, I'll play.

Chuunibyou - It's not ongoing at the moment, but there's more coming out in a season or two. And it has some touching romance to it, imo.

Oh, sorry xD. Well if you know any finished animes, that's fine, just post them.

The reason I said on-going is because i've seen plenty of finished romance animes, but they only have around 13 episodes, like, all of them. D:

Loads of people have said Chuunibyou, I guess I should try it, thank you .

Chu2Koi doesn't focus much on the romance part though, but more on the Chuunibyou of Rikka and the reasons behind it.

can you tell us what series you've watched already with that genre?
it'd help us know what your preferences are and that we don't suggest something you've watched already

I've watched Kare Kano, although I doubt I would watch something like that again (no offense to fans!)

ToraDora (It was alright)

DN Angel (Awesome!)

And a little bit of CLANNAD, that was good too:3

I highly recommend watching OreShura, I only watched it a bit, but I found it super cute and charming in my opinion. I also recommend watching My Teen Romantic Comedy and The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat, those are the shows I'm currently watching and I found them incredibly enjoyable as romantic comedies.

finish Clannad until the After Story, it's one of the best series out there.

anyway, here are my recommendations

series that are finished:
Ano Natsu de Matteru
Kokoro Connect
Amagami SS and Amagami SS+

series that are on-going:
Photokano
Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko

can't think of anything else at the moment

Thank you!
I'll definitely be sure to try all of these out.
I've already googled half of them, they all sound amazing.

I was typing up a list since I was bored (yay I found something to do!), but then I remembered you said "on-going..." Do you mean you want something that is currently airing? Photo Kano is a bit of a let down so far, kinda generic. Plus, I really do recommend the Amagami series.

I still have that list I was making, stopped half way, saved in a text file, I can just paste it if you're interested. It has a bit over a dozen (I think) shows on it atm, but they're all finished airing, doesn't fall into your requirement.

My favourites (other than the ones already mentioned):

Kimi ni Todoke (really sweet, but also slow; a lot of people lose patience)
Nazo no Kanojo X (if you can get past the saliva-exchange squick factor, it's a really warm-hearted anime)
True Tears (quirky and less feel-good than the other two; very good drama)

Oh that's fine, just post them, doesn't matter if they've ended, I wouldn't want you to do that work for nothing D:

Ongoing is hard, but if it's just that you don't like short ones that's easy.

Cross Game is 50 episodes. Episodes are available legally on Viz Anime site.
Touch has 101 episodes, one of the highest rated anime shows ever. (Still picked by Japanese mothers last year as the #1 anime they'd like their kids to watch).
Kimagure Orange Road weighed in at 48 episodes.
Maison Ikkoku has 96 episodes, although it is set in college instead of high school. Also highly rated.

All of those are generally considered masterpieces in the romance genre.

Kimi ni Todoke IS really rewarding if you sit through it; I don't see how people get tired of it. Another vote for Toradora! and CLANNAD, and maybe check out Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai.

Marmalade Boy (one of my favorite classic anime romance show)
Ai Yori Aoshi (there are 2 seasons, 2nd is called Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi)
Oh My Goddess (many seasons, light on romance)
AIR (TV series and a Movie)
Da Capo (D.C.I and SS, D.C.II and SS, D.C.III story is incomplete, not known if another season upcoming afaik, light on romance)
EF - A latter Tale
EF - A Tale of Memories (season 2)
Gift - Eternal Rainbow
I's Pure (don't remember how good this is, the specials are super duper ecchi though)
Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien
Lamune (I really like this one)
To Heart (series 1, sequal "Remember my memories" with same characters, series 2 with a bunch of OAVs. It's more slice of life than romance though.)
Wind a breath of Heart (just a bit of romance)
Bokura ga Ita (the "last" episode is not actually the last, story goes on in manga... y'know, been a long time since I've seen it, I might watch it again )
Itazura na Kiss (feel like watching this again too )
Kanon (mostly drama/comedy/mystery, final arc is more romance)

There's much more I could list if anybody here is interested. This is just about half my list.

Ill second the suggestion on Amagami SS/SS+

Probably my favorite show out of this genre, and it's set in arcs of 6(I think?) girls, so there's at least one girl you gotta be attached to. Animation is nice, and it's set in high school like you wanted.

Watch it, and be amazed.
