No clue but I think it is so stupid if he can throw it. Next thing it will be turning into dbz.. *sigh*

Not that bad but not that good for a stand-alone filler.

Few things that I like about the episode, first, was that the ending kept with the ghost-castle mood when closing with an ominous feeling of dread rather than your typical, slapstick or friendly Naruto finish for an end.

Second, I was thinking the doing was a refined work of jönin performing a sophisticated jutsu, but once Hinata saw a full network of chakra veins running throughout the walls then it's a giveaway that a kuchiyose is behind all the mess.

The Kuchiyose's true form was never displayed, but its form on the scroll was drawn to be that of a chameleon. Fitting, since chameleon's change their body color to match that of their surroundings.
In the Kuchiyose's case, it used the memories of the castle to match its innards with that of the feudal lord's home.

I don't think Rasengan would dissipate if you're a strong user of the rasengan, but it should not leave the hand like that. I'm not sure it's possible it was an animation error too I guess...I don't think 197 will be the ned of fillers I think naruto will go off with Jiraiya and they're have a few jiraiya and naruto fillers and then a slight time skip...then no more fillers : P

Wasn't paticulary impressed by the plot, but it wasn't as bad as i thought. The whole painting thing reminded me of that film 'The Haunting'. Getting kind of sick of Kiba/Hinata/Naruto team now, especially putting them together in one off episodes.

The idea of the episode was okay, but was let down by the bad animation and length of the episode.

That was a fake title submitted by some random person. The thing with a number of sites is that they are often take submissions about episode titles from random people, often who just joke around.
