Fun episode it seemed like this episode was more about Rika than Ikki. I really liked the emotional aspect of the episode. Rika hearing Ikki say he doesnt want to live in her cage made her realize that she too is trapped in a cage and it her self who decided to give up AT's. I think she started to notice that the more she pushed Ikki away from Riding hes going to go at it harder and no matter what she says. Sora is a really cool guy he does care about Rika despite what he said to her after his accident. It was so cute how she became shy when asking to make him dinner sometime, i hope those 2 end up together and i hope Rika starts riding again. I miss seeing Simica and how Ringo reacts to her i hope she comes back soon. But i do have 3 questions.

1. Rika is still Road King right? from my understading all the road kings have to play a part for the Sky King to awaken. Is Rika playing her part now or is role beyond that of Ikkis keeper?

2. I dont know if anyone here watches wrestling i was in to it for a while. If you caught the name of the dogs they equal the move Stone Cold Steve Austin use to do in the WWF Stone, Cold, Stunner. I cant tell you how hard i laughed when i heard the names.

3. Did anyone else think that The former Sky king is named Sora and Ikki's nickname is Crow. I started thinking about Air 1000th summer. am i just thinking about it too much?

1. Rika quit. There's another king(queen) of her road now. She's just a supporter now
3. Sora wasn't the Sky King, he was the Wind King. But i guess that isn't really the answer to your question

The only character that I can think of that could be Nike is that American Football player, I think his name was Makoto Sakurai, that Ikki met in volume 10. Maybe Nike is his nickname? I've no idea myself.

Finally managed to take a look at chapter 134.

Woo-hoo, Ringo busts out her best moves yet. She is probably the most agile of all the stormriders we've whitnessed so far.

I mean, the way she moves, the way she turns, the way she twists. Ringo has one hell of a contortionist body (sic!). Must be all that nitrogen she has in her in her joints (remember chapter 132?). And don't ask me how that works: it's just one of Oh! Great cracky pseudo-scientific explanations. 8)

But her joints must feel like hell, doing all those twists. I feel sorry for poor Ringo. However, she did manage to outrun Ikki's Wing Road, which is, I guess, the reason why she is the Thorn King, and Ikki is just a chump called "Babyface".

True. But with her Thorn regalia, Ringo is a lot more powerful that Rika was without the regalia or ATs.

Besides, she's got that nitrogen thing going, which I think Rika did not have, which allows her to move faster, be more nimble and more stress-resistant. It's painful, but we don't really know her limit yet.

That's a part of Oh! Great's style. All of his teenage characters look older than they should be by 3-4 years. Tenjou Tenge's 16-17 year olds look at least to be in their early twenties, and Air Gear's 13-14 year olds look 17-18.

However, I don't think that discounts anything. Ikki's mental age is actually closer to 8.

Oh, and Air Gear has a lot of slashfiction fangirls all hot and bothered, because Oh! Great keeps taunting them with faux yaoi BS (like Kazu/Sano LOL). So I am a bit more worried about that aspect that the hetero stuff. 8)

I know not of this final arc you speak of, since I'm woefully behind on the manga, but hell, I thought TenTen was going to be over right before they went into that crazy historical past arc. So I'm not doubting Oh Great's potential to continue it past 3 volumes.

Yet more Ringo vs Ikki fighting and lots of talking this time as well. Something about the Tropheaum, but I can't make out most of it becase the cam-pic are so tiny. Ringo is still kicking butt and taking names, but by the end of it, Ikki seems rather determined.

Oh, and for some reason, both Ringo and Ikki are drawn strangely pretty here. Is Oh! Great setting them up to make up and make out right there and then? 8)
