Once again, the rock, paper, scisors and jump rope segments stole the show for me. I forgot to mention them last time, but I really like them.

I liked this episode. It made me feel sorry for Nano though. To her credit, She's as normal as a rocket toe weilding, cake dispenser featuring android could possibly be . This episode had another gag that skirted the line in terms of wether it was too long or not. But, like the last one, it was funny. Overall I liked this episode.

And also, what was that chant of resurrection used for? (I don't get that part cus the GUI in the game she used it in wasn't really translated.)
what make me laugh is the chant is wrong

Lol, first part was the funniest. Mio and Yuuko just got thoroughly pwned (ggkthxbainore)

The rest were meh, except the homework part where I really liked the animation effects. Should teach Mio not to doodle BL on your homework book.

People still hating on KyoAni in this thread... wow...

You need to get over E8... stop worshipping Yamamoto (Fractale was boring as hell)... and get off of Shino nuts (he is great though.)

Nichijou is damn cute and funny... and the animation bar has been set pretty freaking high once again.

Well, episode 2 showed more potential than the previous one and the OVA did. There were more scenes that made me laugh and the randomness didn't feel awkward like last time. I'm still not convinced this is going to be the show for this season, but at the very least I'm not yet dropping it.

The notebook scene was crazy as hell, especially the way they handled the animation, I was like "is this a slice-of-life"?

another great episode. I love the ending part. all those weapons and then wearing that mask Kawaii. The notebook scene was pretty crazy, I love how the animation style switches when they were running. This anime is just too much cuteness

i agree, the notebook scene was the best part of ep 2, now i know were all the budget for this ep go reminds me of the anime tenchou scene from Lucky Star for some reason, which also done by the same studio of course

These scenes are getting progressively crazier, and I'm loving it. Both episodes have had long, epic scenes, and I would love to see them try to one up each other every episode. The notebook scene was easily the funniest of the two.

Same here. I'm really digging the random ass humor style. To me this show is like a hybrid between Azumanga Diaoh and Lucky Star, and those are two of the best anime I've ever seen. So I'm totally on board with this show.

As if it's that easy. In fact I'm ashamed to say I for years hadn't been able to tell the difference. You know it's because animation is part of direction. I don't have enough confidence yet. In this episode 2 too, episode director Ishidate put massive corrections onto the episode, so it's terribly hard to separate between animation and direction. I was like, what did Horiguchi do?

Aratani seems working at Nintendo now. In exchange for her, someone from Nintendo might come and be working at KyoAni. There's no proof of that though.

Are you going to say "budget"? Wait! Is your point really related to budget? Isn't it time or style?
Simply put, production time is consistency, and budget is framerate.
Even poor animation is costlier than a high-quality still shot.

There must be one "Serious Business" skit in each episode. The wiener segment and the notebook chase have set the bar.

Also, cake-arm-cannon is the worst Mega Man weapon ever. But I still want one.
