Honestly it will never end if everyone starts to mention all the female character with pink hair ... Basically I seem to remember that you mention girls pirate captain with pink hair as Marika ... Or who have held a pirate .. brief

Mobirates 20 - Friendship Through Reckless Steering

PE Teacher!Kane chewed the scenery like nobody else I've seen in this series. He might not have been working at full power as a regular teacher, but something in him likes coaching. As expected, this is Ai's time to shine. That scene with her and Marika bonding out on the yacht was pretty sweet, though my favorite Ai moment is her game face from the preview, when she overtook the other racers. Beneath that small frame lies the heart of a racer.

I don't know what Hakuoh did, exactly, in the last Nebula Cup to get them banned, and I wonder if Ai will end up repeating it. Piracy and ship sailing are still at the forefront of the show, smoother than ever, I'd say. This week was, overall, a lot of fun. Pretty well put together.

Ai was just great this ep. Lol Hilde cheating. Nice that we got al look at what goes on behind the scenes. How dare the race officials call the yacht club demons.

The episode felt like an OVA, complete with Kane randomly walking in at the right moment and acting out of character just for lulz. But it gave Ai a chance to shine, so I can't complain. Well, not about the plot. Kane's swimsuit on the other hand ...

Also, I wonder how many car accidents Marika caused by riding like this?

The 19th Nebula Cup.
That Kane sure pushed the girls really hard in practice.
Since they have no real experience with those small boats it's no wonder.
That tournament will not be easy, especially for beginners like them.
To top it all off Marika was torn between her pirating job and club, which will pose even a bigger problem as the tournament nears.

Spoiler for Highlights of episode 20: I had to laugh at Grunhilde being underhanded and sneaky, and Gruier going "Good job Hilde!" When Misa retires or moves on, Marika can do no better than to have these two as her XOs. The Bentenmaru has a mini-wave motion gun hidden in the nose, useful for planetary bombardments, wiping out opposing fleets and practical jokes. I 100% expected Ai to win the sail-board competition, but did not expect Grunhilde or Natalia to place as well. I halfway expected Marika not to place. Speaking of Ai, I don't know which she is better at, being a kickass pilot, or being adorable. Bonus points for her and Marika bonding. It was amusing to see Marika's reactions to Kane's antics. Kane: Behold! I am your PE TEACHER! Marika: facepalm We get a glimpse into the shadows, and the coalition that is responsible for Marika's non-agression pact, with bonus Mystery-Hooded-Figure(TM). Why I wonder who it could be..... Next week, it looks to be Bentenmaru vs. the outsiders, with Marika crashing the cup in the Silent Whisper.
