I would expect action girls, cheesecake fanservice, spotty writing and at least one yuri relationship that ends badly. Also a super over the top evil villain or two and at least one traitor heroine.

As someone who heavily enjoys Madoka Magica and Symphogear, I already have the ideas on which tropes the show will play on them, like action girls fighting against strange creatures that takes over the world they live, their sad pasts, slight yuri subtexts and flashy elements (which is typical for a magical girl show and its variants). I can't wait to see on how dark the plot will turn later on.

Hotpants were never been a main female outfit fetish for bishoujo animes until Vivid Red created such miracle. I was always been pleased to see it since the first day, so it was a nice thing to develop throughout updates before its airing.

After reading the show info I'm seriously wondering how they can possibly fuck this up if they're going for a basic fun mecha/bishoujo show. I mean the concept itself seems easily executable, you've got the friendship theme, the fighting aliens thing, the sempai character,the gadgets and upgrades, the budget, and I can already start to see how the characters are probably going to ply off each other so with expectations set at just simply being a fun spectacle to watch that makes sense in.its own context this should be decent guilty pleasure sci-fi mecha on moe fun....right?
