I still hope that the preorders will pick up after the 6-7 episode with the Clash With The Enforcers Arc...
And I hope that they've already planned the second season of this just like with Rinne and Jormungand and many other shows and just keep this as a secret. (well, can't I be idealistic?

well its fine to be optimistic, but as for me i wont expect much now considering that Gainax is on a bad record lately

im gonna start reading the manga though

Actually, if it follows this routine of 2 chapters of the manga per each of the anime, the season should end up exactly at the very beggining of the Flask Plan arc, around when Oudo shows up before Medaka.

That's right. Also, why do you think that the next episode will adapt 3 chapters? I haven't seen any signs of this in the preview.

Saw the 2 eps on CrunchyRoll last night. It seems like a pretty enjoyable series - you got a tsundere Haruhi-esque big boobed girl..nothing wrong with that.

I hear the show is actually a deconstruction of the shonen series though, and it's Gainax..so I'll continue watching.

Unfortunately the show likely won't get that far, so it'll stay reasonably close to the first 2 episodes.

Zenkichi totally doesn't have it easy anymore ^^"
Medaka sure is a great detective.
Isahaya totally got off easy, with only a guilt trip.
The missing dog mission was ROFL, Zenkichi got stuck with a beast.
The effect Medaka had on the dog was just shocking LOL

And what makes you say that? The public morals committee appeared in the OP. That's enough to hint that the anime is moving in the same direction as the manga.
