if such a huge industry were banned it would spark lots of protest and rebellion. people would find ways around it and the ban wouldn't hold together very long. needless to say it would be an incredible stupid move.

You know, Vexx, your posts on trying to stop this thread are really not working. Most of them (us) are thinking very hypothetically.
Realistically, the ban would be impossible. Otherwise, Japan's economy and just about all of the nations who sell anime/manga would stagnate, some might actually collapse (maybe?). Now, if it were possible, I'd continue with life, and prolly get much better grades. *cough*

I'd be peeved that I would be missing out on new content, but it wouldn't be the end of the world as I have enough already on my hard drive that aside from sleeping I could watch anime continuously for the next two years lol.
