I nominated that show earlier. That was before I watched White Album 2, though. I watched a lot of 2013 anime in December and January just to get a good idea of what to vote for.

That may be true. Can't predict people's tastes. But I bet it wouldn't have been a landslide victory either.

High-school comedies are a genre I largely avoid, but I did watch Love Lab after reading about it here and enjoyed it a lot. Maybe the reason it gets less interest is that the yuri lovers were disappointed that the girls are all heterosexual. Even if it doesn't win, I'm still glad I watched it because of the commentary here.

I personally consider Love Lab to be better comedy but only just. And it's definitely something that I recommend more people watching. I was heavily tempted to nominate Maki as best female lead. She's just so wonderfully crazy.

I watched both... I like em both... but IMO Hataraku is better so there...

Also I'd just like to say... why bring such questions in the voting thread? If you're gonna do this other people might as well question other people for voting other anime... like White Album 2 for drama as an example. Grats you liked it... I hated it... it's what we call differing tastes.

I am still wondering why from the beginning everyone calls it "Guren no Yumiya", even though the opening itself SHOWS what the actual name is.

I watched both Hataraku and Love Lab and I chose... Servant x Service. Out of the four shows in the comedy category, it's the most underrated imo. It was very funny, charming and had surprisingly good romance. I enjoyed all the nominees, but if I had to rank them: Servant x Service = Hataraku Maou-sama > Love Lab > Watamote.
