Read the second season thread for my reasons on that.

And since Vol 9. begins Tsuruya and Mikuru's third year...

Yeah, I'm changing my vote to black bunny suit.

Also, I got a question for you guys: What should Kyon-chan's question to Mitsuuru be that prompts the "classified information" line? It can't be his age... that's too feminine...

My votes for the bunny suit? Considering Kyonko's coloring, I think she'd look best in a yellow- or brownish color, preferably a darker hue, or black. Itsuko would look best in a light/pastel color, but not white.

Why not age?

Sure, it seems feminine. But Mitsuuru's already somewhat effeminate in nature. Plus, age is a relevant secret as a time traveler.

It's not that... I just can't imagine Kyon-chan thinking to ask that of him.

And the response to that, for Mitsuuru, wouldn't be a cute smile and a wink. Hiding your age like that is something guys don't tend to do...

Since when has any male joined Kikoku Inoue's "Eternally 17" club?

It really should be something else.

Guys don't give much about their age, although Mitsuru does have a reason to keep it a secret, being a time traveler.

And from my experience, girls wouldn't really ask that kind of a question.

Mitsuru would probably be the first.

Thanks for backing me up.

-"who sent you?"
-"how far into the future are you from?"
-"Is Mitsuru your real name?"

But in this style it ought to be something personal, not something Mitsuuru can deny the knowledge just based on operating procedure...

.... =.=;; This is really lame and keeps getting worse as I replay it in my head....
Spoiler for qn...:

=.=';;;

EDIT:

The more I think about it we might not be able to preserve that moe style of Mikuru. Perhaps changing Mitsuuru's reaction to be that of slight annoyance as Kyonko pokes fun at him from time to time?

I guess. Though it lacks a bit of impact.

Well I'm sure someone else can do it.

Like the guy who made the genderbent 4komas at the start of this thread.
