I dunno about you guys, but I'm not feeling the 105 mm derp on the Sherman, as it requires real close-in fighting that I'm not sure my connection can handle. Sure, it does huge damage even to heavies, but one spike and goodbye Sherman. I think I'll just wait until I get the 76 mm.

After transfering all of my crews, my hit ratio drops noticeably. It's still good, but not as godly as before, seeing I can't hit anything fast enough at 400m away. My latency is roughly 300ms, so I can't afford to waste any moment for aiming.

It was even more valid a tactic, back when tank carcasses stay rooted to the spot where they met their demise, and could not be budged. There were players back in the day who blocked access into half of Erlenberg for everyone else with their T-26s.

It's kind of funny I use the exact same gun (in terms of statistics) on the Panzer IV and before I got the Sherman I really hated it but after using the derp gun on the Sherman I started to appreciate it. Using HE shells instead of AP shells made a difference I suppose.

I was talking about the Panzer IV's 10.5 cm KwK 42 /L48 which is really similar to the M4 derp gun but can use AP shells as well which I did at the beginning. Until I got the M4's derp gun and then I switched to HE shells on 10.5cm KwK and play the PzIV similar as the M4 with much better success.
You're right about the rammer my bad.

You know, that's what I've always found strange about my Panzer IV. The 105 mm is on the research list, but I've never been allowed to allocate research points or buy the darned thing. The tank actually got to elite without it, which has bugged me ever since.

My very first match with my brand-new M103:
That IS-3 was the very first thing my M103 unloaded its ammo on using the 120mm T122 gun. One moment it was undamaged, the next it was DEAD. Freaking GLORIOUS While I have used the M103 in the Test Servers, I didn't realize just how nimble this thing is compared to the T32 until I tried it out today. After endlessly using the T32 to grind to this thing, I find that the M103 handles faster and is more maneuverable than the T32, and that's with stock engine and tracks.

You have a rather... interesting problem Myssa Rei
To be honest, I did research the 105, but I don't use it much. I have recently sold the module and will probably not visit it again. The problem with the Panzer IV is that its not much of a brawling tank. The KV-1 is a brawl tank through and through, and can even ram a IV to death if necessary. I play my IV as a close support sniper, a role I have most success at. - Tak
