Siesta is a much better character in the novels than in the anime, I think. The anime replaced a lot of the deep emotional development from the novels with sophomoric breast jokes.

Even though they play the same role as the tragic third wheel in a series where it's obvious the guy is going to end up with the tsundere girl that the show's named for, Siesta is infinitely more likeable than Yoshida.


My vote for frustrating, though I love her character and don't find her annoying:
Shuurei from Saiunkoku Monogatari. Come on Shuurei, it's been 12 novels and 78 anime episodes. Give our man Ryuuki a little love already. How about just a peck on the cheek? Anything at all!!

Im not one to judge as i have watched not many episodes of Zero No Tsukaima i would say that Louise is really annoying to me and Sieta of what i have seen is just a nice person and more a friend to him, Louise is the one that is annoying.

Claymore - Raki
Detective Conan - Ayumi and Ran
Prince of Tennis - Sakuno
Inuyasha - Kagome and Shippo
Bleach - Orihime
Code Geass - Nina and Suzaku

I hate them all so much; I want to just enter their names on the Jigoku Tsuushin. (lol)

Constant apology's a sign of lack of pride in actions, ie lack of pride in self. If you screw up, just say it and fix it.

Again....I'm going to point out that he's TEN YEARS OLD. A little kid. Are little kids all about pride? No. Children....especially children raised into little gentlmen like Negi, are going to apologize a lot if they think someone is mad at them because they don't like it when people are mad at them. Honestly, I've always hated Asuka from Evangelion. Yeah, she had a screwed up past, and yeah, Shinji was a loser who probably deserved what he got, but her anger and attitude really started to wear thin on me after a certain point. Her past was tragic, but I don't really have any sympathy for her since she chose to blame and lash out at others who weren't responsible.

Spoiler for If someone actually hasn't seen Eva:

I expected her to overcome her past and reveal that she was actually a reasonable and respectable person but she just kept becoming more and more angry, to the point where she was practically a raving lunatic by the end.

I'll also add Suzaku and Nina from Code Geass, I don't really think those need any explanation.
