a good anime for you would be Rurouni Kenshin.. He cooks and has a sword what more could you ask for.

Can anyone suggest an anime with
1) epic betrayal
2) Awesome anti-hero

The two best anti-hero animes I've seen already been listed in first reply I'd really recommend either of them if you haven't seen them, and might meet your requirements for betrayal as well, but "epic" various from person to person.

Can anyone suggest an anime where

Main (male ) protagonist is suffering from some illness during the series(or some other disorder that makes him not fight at full strength) , so it must be some kind of action
