Konami has a PR page for Beyond the Labyrinth on their konamistyle site
You can also find some music samples on the page, which links to youtube, btw. Alternatively just click on the link below, if you just want to go directly to the playlist.

Beyond the Labyrinth combat trailer. It looks like it is based on the jan-ken-pon principle.

New Love plus PV. For some reason the Love plus series kind of reminds me of konami's other series, Tokimeki Memorial. Not the game mechanics and story telling, but the dating theme.

Another game we won't be able to play. The PV is kinda fun since the players featured don't look like the real buyers of Love Plus

Beyond the Labyrinth trailer is more interesting and beautiful, it shows nice effects. I think you're right about jan-ken-pon system and these 3 magics but I wonder what are these things at the end (allies ?).

Mario has landed (in Japan) and 3DS sales skyrocket. Sold close to 150k in one week, it appears DS level sales are back in Japan at least.

For people who understand Japanese, an talk between Miyamoto and a Japanese comedian, Matsumoto Hitoshi.
Quite deep, and very interesting, so I suggest listening to it when you have time.

Did anyone else pick up Mario Kart 7 today? The online is really awesome and easy to use. The game runs smoothly as well, and everything's pretty much as it should be.

We had a tournament at our GameStop, and I came in second overall so I won a limited edition set of Starfox 64 3D dogtags, along with the 2-pin preorder set and a couple rounded keychains. If anyone wants to play online, just hit me up!

Our release day was Friday, so i've been playing it since then. Great fun. Good thing i don't play these games with the 3D function turned on, because this game would destroy your eyes. The two rainbow road levels for example.

Oh wow, that's fantastic. Kind of bummed at the versions of games but getting big name stuff like this for free is just awesome.

What I mean by "versions" is I wished we had different games in the series.

- Fire Emblem instead of Sacred Stones
- Nightmare in Dreamland instead of Amazing Mirror
- Zero Mission instead of Fusion

That's just my personal preference though; can't wait for these!

When it came to the choices for the Kirby and Metroid games, I can see where Nintendo was going with them. After all, Nightmare in Dreamland and Zero Mission are basically remakes of games that are already available for the 3DS (although the original Metroid is currently only a Ambassador game).
