Incidentally, I've found that the VK can ALSO mount the 10.5 howitzer... but makes it very silly-looking with the very short barrel.

That's why I love how the 10.5 Pak 45 L/52 looks on the JagdPanther.

The rest of the team? 105 derp equipped Easy Eights, to flank them and cause disarray in their ranks.
I'm running with the E8, so, selfishly, yes?

KV-1S are dangerous opponents, but they can be derp'd to death if they have some other trouble to occupy their attention. I'm not sure running a pack of T-34-85's would do all that well in comparison.

KV1Ss shine with the group and with arty support. They do not do so well if they are at a distance from the enemy or if there are more of the enemy(or even an equal number) than themselves.

Or you could just lit them on fire by hitting them in the back.

So I need to ask, just what's the proper way to transfer crew from a Premium tank without having to shell cash to retrain them. Because that's one of the supposed benefits, but it doesn't seem to be working in my case.

Uhm..... the purpose of the premium tank is to train OTHER tank crews, not the other way around.

Thats my point. However, does this means that when I transfer them FROM the premium to the tank I like (for example the LL Churchill to a KV-1s, both heavies), I'd still have to shell out credits to retrain them again?

Yeah, if you're doing crew training, you're supposed to get the Premium tanks after you get your other tanks, otherwise you pay money.

Right now I have the T-25 (and, well, the Pz S35) training my German medium crews, the T-15 training my German scout crews, and the Dicker Max trying to kill my German TD crews.

However, I did buy the Churchill III waaaaaay in advance of getting the KV-1, so that the KV-1 could start with a better crew than average. But I knew that I'd have to pay for it.

It's like this: You train a Pz IV crew in the T-25, never the other way around.

Well, the goal of getting in the enemy's rear area goes without saying.

Mandatory you say.

Just what is the timeline of this "mandatory"? I don't object to riding up this line, since I wanted to try fast Soviet scouts anyway (it does miff me up a bit to abandon pure MURRICA exceptionalism...), but I'm not getting out of my M4 and M4E8 until I'm actually good with both tanks.

Moreover, I have no intention of saving 2 garage slots for when I'm a welfare warrior with very limited garage slots. 1 slot, sure. So do you want me to roll the T-34, and if so, when do you want me in it?

Meh, it's not mandatory. LeoXiao just went a tad too far with what he was writing.

Um..."mandatory" is now a synonym for "strongly suggested". (see my edited post)
T-34/85s are no longer the focus, just T-34s. Use whatever tier 6 you're good at in the company battles.

As for "'Murrican exceptionalism", consider it the redneck's addition to his armored collection out on his Texan ranch. (ooh gotta get me one of them commie Tee-furty-thors! Yee-ha!)

Much better, especially since the lot of us are actually used to the tier 6s we have right now. Honestly, can you picture Kimidori in anything but a Cromwell?

That was the concern I had from the start.

^You want us to diversify, and I got that.

But there's a kind of appeal in sticking to just one theme, y'know. A...purity of experience, you could say. When I started I could have gone for any nation (in fact I was partial to the French and their awesome dark marine blue color scheme), but since I went up the US, I chose to stick to the US...

Good to hear it's not bolded mandatory or with a timeline. I'm still fine with riding up that line at a later date/at my leisure for some fun with the fast BT's (aside from the Stuarts, do the Americans have any scout worth playing, well, as a scout?), and for solidarity with the clan and all. Just give some advance warning about clan events, and I'll grind for the T-34 in time for training and matches.

A Cromwell, sailing majestically across the bridge in Westfield...

And if someone asks way there is a British or American tank in the packs of Russian tanks, the answer is Lend Lease.

(If a German or French tank, it is a War Prize.)
