It gets about as many upvotes as obscure shoujo adaptations. The premise is definitely interesting and there's some cool ninja shit going on pretty regularly it just hasn't really amounted to a coherent whole.

Even the ANN reviewer assigned to follow the episodes still seems to somewhat enjoy the series - they admit it has issues but there are parts which work out well for them. (And especially when you consider that some of their reviewers can get really crochety about what they watch).

Meh, anyone can enjoy schlock every now & then.

That was definitely... one of the anime of all time. The epilogue was kinda cute too I guess. Realistically a 3/10 or so but maybe a 5 since I'm feeling generous, it had a few good moments but was painfully mediocre overall. It made for an entertaining hate watch if nothing else. The glory days of ninjas seem to be behind us.

Damn, I could have used the time I watched this show on other anime.
Definitely the worst original anime I have seen in a long time.
