But this is all strange though.. ****maybe****Itachi is already pretty much the strongest of shinobi in the series *at this time*.. although no one is sure if he's stronger or as strong as Jiraiya / Tsunade .. he's at least on a sannin / kage level. If there's someone *stronger* than Itachi . . . it'll be sort of a strange power balance in the series.

It'll be kind of weird seing Tsunade, the hokage, or Jiraiya, a sannin, being knocked down by this *super strong* guy since he's above the kage level..

Also you say higher *ups* as in, more than one person that's stronger than Itachi. If you have 3 or 4 kage level enemies.. then.. heh, definitely gonna get hard to beat..

Although I'm sure the right group of sannin / and jounins can take him down (if this guy (or these guys) is even real.. we don't exactly know that there's someone stronger than Itachi, just kinda assuming..)

It never had any relevance. It's what the animation studio use to keep the anime from catching up to the manga. A flashback is not a filler unless it wasn't in the manga which is the original in this case.

I've recently read a new thread about Akatsuki Members and the possiblity of who could be in there and someone mentioned that Kakashi's dad might be in it, and Yondaime did mention that he is equal to or higher than the Sannins, made me think about what you said kboykb, maybe he is in there, but it would only be fair to say that if he was as strong or actually from what I can gather Yondaime seemed to be leading to that he was stronger than the sannins, but then again maybe the sannins were just alot younger at that time, so kakashi's dad was stronger, but there would've been plenty of time to catch up to him, but Sakumo also could've improve.....would be very interesting

Has anyone ever thought of this, Kyubi has 9 tails and when oro left Akatsuki got another to Join, maybe they don't have a leader, I mean we saw what one tail can do, maybe they're trying to keep things even and that they reallly don't have a leader and that they plan to split up Kyubi and seal a tail, every member gets an equal share....

If 1 tail of Kyubi can destroy mountains and have as much destructive force as a tsunami..... how much power can you possibly need

and yeah I know that they consist of "evil Ninja's" so in the end greed and fear would probly take over and they end up trying to kill each other, which they all probly know and accept and are all ploting against each other (that would be great) if they do manage to harnace Kyubi

Well i thinki the leader is most proberly in the middle and i think the leaders name is Uchiha madara cause he is the 1 that nos the kybu very well and most proberly noes all the other 9 demond creatures

Well I thought it was going to be that picture with the AL and the little beard thing but atleast its something different. In my opinion the AL in that picture looks like a bit of a pussy and I cant imagine someone like that running Akatsuki. Its most likely fan made.

But still very convincing though the image is small. The rocks behind the blue-hair member look like they came straight out of one of the animation cels. But that would be easy to accomplish by just taking a fan pic and Photoshopping it over a background from one of the episodes. The images of Zetsu, Kisame, Itachi, Deidara and Sasori are all actually stills from the anime. And the palette for all the rest of members seems to be legit from what we've seen on the color spread.
