To me that falls under the purview of the One Year War.

First: One Year War
Second: Zeta Gundam
Third: Gundam ZZ and CCA
Fourth: Unicorn

So why do people fight, anyway?
Perhaps the meaning of existence lies within their will to fight.
People feel a sense of accomplishment through battle.
And it’s also a fact that the ones actually fighting are never perceived as being tainted.

And where did you think the alias "Audrey Burn" and her character design comes from ?

Even though the Delaz Crisis began and ended 3 years after the end of the One Year War and four years before the start of the Gryps War

Hopefully they'll have a PSN preview for that one too, then we could be getting it in the summer (note: Ep 1 was supposed to be released in "spring")

I'm pretty sure a new Gundam series would have already started by then.

That last line... they just had to save that word for the last line of the episode. I guess you don't last as a brand for over 30 years and not know how to put the cherry on top.

He went G-Gundam transformation in the end.
I thought he was going to say the lines also.

"This hand of mine glows with an awesome POWER! Its burning grip tells me to defeat you! Take this! My love, my anger, and all of my sorrow! SHINING FINGER SWORRRRRDDDD!!! GO! GO! GO!!!"

Also, that was just AWESOME. I'll be watching even just for Marida and Kshatriya, that's for sure.
Somehow I don't think the Kshatriya is going to make it out of the next episode. It looks like it's finally beaten by the performance and ability of the Unicorn.

Well, it's essentially the Quin Matha from ZZ under a more compact package. But it does survive till the bitter end.

since ep1 seems to cover the first 2 volumes of the novel minus the conclusion of the unicorn battle and full frontal first apperance, now they have to cover that plus the whole red comet book. will we be getting at least the beggining of the palau capture battle in ova 2?

also, it seems they'll be using cliffhangers in every ova ep. ending since: 10 books=6 60 minutes ovas and we already covered 2 books(~450 pages). it's worthy mentioning that the later books have at least 300 to 350 pages, while one has 400 pages, but the 2 already covered had almost 250 pages, that's a lot to cover even with cuts to the story

Question:

If Unicorn is supposed to be released globally at the same time, how is it on the web already? Is the BD out in Japan first and the rest of the world at the same time?

Gundam Unicorn was released for one screening in Hong Kong early Feb. On Feb. 22, there were a couple of screening of it in theater in Japan and was also released in Japan Playstation Network. Bluray/DVD is officially released 3/12 worldwide.
