Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Didn't see a thread for this, so I might as well start one.
It's been at least 2 months since this awesome game by Infinity Ward came out. I would like to hear the AS community's opinions on this.

I thought Halo 3 was good, it could have been great but to me it was just good. Now CoD4 is just awesome. Single player is great but with most FPS these days, its the online action most peeps are looking for and CoD4 does not fail to entertain there.
Altho I do think it needs more clan support and a better friends interface. Can't tell if their in game or in lobby. and can't not mention that CoD4 has got possibly the best level ever made! hands down to the lads at Infinity Ward for that master piece I'm playing on the PS3 version so if anyone wants to add me feel free(I'm currently lacking friends to play with atm) PSN: BontaKun3000

A good game, I played on my friends console. Single player was fun and challenging, I got knife-d to death on multiplayer.
All in all, this break away from WWII was a VERY good thing.

you guys know if there's a trick to killing the dogs if they pounce on you? it's effing irritating when they grab your throat and you die, the melee key doesn't respond quickly, if it does respond, it won't grab the dog......if you guys prone, the dogs can't pounce on you right? if so.....it's a good chance then....any tips on multiplayer?

For taking down dogs when you're down, you have to hit the melee key the moment it appears in the center of your screen. Too early, and you won't get another chance. Too late, and you won't grab the dog at all.

I absolutely love this game. I've stuck with Infinity Ward and CoD for awhile now from the first to the Modern Warfare (minus 3 which sucked). I've already beaten the whole game on veteran and the mile high club which was a pain in the ass. I was so glad I didn't miss the guy at the end. Just need two more achievements and i'm done. >_<
They should add extra rewards with prestiges besides different looking medals. I'm starting to get bored of starting over all the time. Add me if you want. Gamertag is DivinityZERO.

PC COD4er right here!
i got the game for the single player campaign, and boy did it not disappoint. Veteran has been kicking my ass! I haven't played much of the multi-player portion, there seems to be quite a few maps, and I've had a little trouble memorizing them. But the main reason i don't play the multi-player much is because of....Team Fortress 2! I know, TF2 and COD4 are completely different, but TF2 multi rocks! |
