Which actually can be summed into one word, willpower. A strong desire that will make certain thing come true. It's more mental than physical for me when I hear the word magic. To deny witch then more likely means to deny the will or believe of the witch.

Possibly. Like how Eva's younger version had her hair down, almost to symbolize youth, while 1986 Eva had her hair tied up.

The new op is giving me a Higurashi Miotsukushi-hen vibe with the "hopeful" feeling that it has. Is it by the same singer?

I hardly recognize Itou Kanako's voice here, but the style is definitely the same (some tone and especially those latino vibes).

and her silhouette showing up in Kinzo's room.

It looks to me more like a Lambdakastel using Maria's Rose like a vessel.

Something I noticed in the OP - near the ending there seems to be something forming behind the silhouette of the new girl.

Another random thought: What if the new girl isn't the accuser, but rather the one being accused of being the culprit by somebody who is not shown in the frame (Battler, maybe)?

So this will start the basic "What you thought you know is wrong" set of Episodes?

If they are even remotely like Higurashi, we are going to have a whole lot more questions than answers by the end of this one. While it may solve Episode 1, it will also give us larger questions as to the nature of the problem and how, or even if this effects the other three question arcs.

Plus now all the demons are involved somehow where as Episode 1 I suppose we knew nothing about the demons with only a tiny bit of Meta involved.

Is this turning the chessboard over, or making it a new game entirely?
