I'd say it's more like freeing/releasing the sealed sword and since when was Restia a sealed sword? It could refer to Terminus Est

It's possible that Restia has been sealed, due to what happened to her, near the end of volume 11.

After all, I think it's still too early to release Est's full power, considering the fact that we haven't even got any developments related with the removal of her curse.

And we know what Kamito's end would be, if he was forced to take the full extent of Est's curse...

Ah, I mixed up "Strongest Elementalist" chapter from vol. 3 with "Strongest Blade Dancer" chapter from vol. 1.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I think the anime will cover up to volume 3.
