Triple Triad game in FF

WOW what an addictive game, albeit frustrating at times. found myself just playing constantly and forgetting about doing the important things, like erm playing the actual game but oh well. Good game - i love whoever created it.

FF9's ver. is more fun then FF8...

I never ever figured out how to play the game in FF8 but FF9 I rocked much socks. I have to say I liked it much better and wished I could play it online. That would be pretty cool.

Strangely enough, I've never figured out how to play the FF9 card game, while being pretty good at the FF8 one. After you get all the good character cards, playing becomes a breeze...

... until you get that damned "Random" rule.

That rule is the worst. Makes having powerful cards pointless, unless you want to destroy your collection by converting all but your best cards into items.

One thing about the cards that imbalances the game is the items. I mean, 100 Megalixirs for 1 card (ok, a unique card, but still)! That's more than you'll ever use in the entire game.

I like Triple Triad better than Tetra Master, because the highest number on a card will always win. You know the outcome when you play a card. Of course, those special rules with combos and such can still create a few nasty surprises for you.
