They fold forward when the Guren-Phoenix goes into transatmospheric flight and the shoulder joints were in the way when I drew them closer to the main body. The dark-gray balls on either side of this Guren's neck-area are the joints for the Graviton-Impellers. I also took into consideration the flight-path of the MVS-Harkens (triangular structures on the chest with the glowing-green centers) both flying off of the chest and returning and determined that if the arms were in the normal position they could get cutt off by the MVS-Harkens. So, this Guren has a rather unusual (but functional) body design. Thanks for noticing BTW. Last edited by GundamFan0083; 2009-10-10 at 00:33. Reason: my spelling is awful tonight |

The FLEIJA Wave-Rider unit is a fanfiction device I came up with to justify why Suzaku rams a FLEIJA into the Charybdis in my story. Normally Suzaku would never be able to do that because of his "live" command given him by Lelouch via Geass. However, since Suzaku knew that this system was on the Lancelot of the Lake; This machine: He was able to out-reason his "live" command because he knew there was a 75% chance he'd survive the FLEIJA detonation even at ground Zero due to the FLEIJA Wave Rider. This device was developed by Nina Einstein, Lloyd Asplundh and Cecile Croomy. It creates an Maser-Shield that acts like a surf-board when a FLEIJA is detonated, and under computer control, the Maser-Shield "rides" the shock-wave of the FLEIJA explosion and throws the KMF away from danger. You'll have to read my fanfic if you wanna know how/why Rakshata adds it to the Guren-Phoenix. |

@Bad Wolf: I removed the Landspinners and replaced them with antigravity units to show further progress in the newer generations of KMF design.
Also, I felt that the landspinner (while unique) would also require a wheel in the toe/foot of the machine or else the KMF would get flipped onto its face upon hitting a pothole or bump in the road. @Keyro Fox: You already know why! I told you in the fanfiction folder when Blade asked the same question. http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...=58470&page=39 Oh and I finished the Type-24O Okouchi today; Spoiler for A courtesy for those who don't like the big pics. :):
