Well it looks like Negi is trying to find a way so that people can go back and forth between mundus magicus and the real world

Those speculations about orbital elevator also seems to be true...

What irks me is how Akamatsu haven't explained what Negi's plan until now

Oh also, that line "it might take a hundred years"...can that be considered a hint for negi's long age span like Eva?

I mentioned this idea earlier on 4chan but I doubt he's going to be able to build any kind of actual connection between earth and mars. My guess is putting some kind of magical generator in orbit of mars that would be able to supply the necessary magic power for the spell that powers the magic world.

Also yeah I doubt Negi has anywhere near a human lifespan anymore. He's "evolved" into a higher being after all.

For myself one of the most interesting things I look forward to being explained is precisely what has happened since Negi "internalized" Magia Erebia.

Changing into different beings and all are fine, but what does that actually mean practical-wise?

Yeah pretty much all we know for sure is that his baseline stats got a huge boost since he took that punch from Fate and didn't even flinch and he hadn't absorbed any magic yet.

been out of the loop since chapter ~310 and just got back reading up ...

Given that Negi's idea will take up towards 100 years what could it be?

Transferring Mundus Magicus to the Moon?

Tow-boating Mars closer to Earth so it can be civilized 'naturally'? (Mars is as far as i remember that close to how Earth is that getting it closer to the sun would make it habitable with little to no terraforming, beyond speeding up the natural process of melting the ice caps and releasing enough Oxygen)

That wouldn't solve the problem of the non humans, whose existence is part of the spell that created Mundus Magicus.

Well, the only hints we have are "The Elevator" and "In Orbit". I have no idea what they would use a space elevator for, but I can't see it being anything else.
